Computerized Voting

I read that several county GOP central committees have rejected the last Presidential election and declared that Joe Biden was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States. This is quite an accusation and, quite frankly, is rife with potentialities that are not pleasant or pretty. To this I ask myself, “How did we get here?”. There is an axiom in the uniformed services that leaders must hold themselves to higher standards and that there cannot even be appearances of impropriety in their comportment (manner of behaving, bearing, deportment, demeanor, bearing). It does not matter whether there is concrete proof or not that a leader is guilty of crimes, poor leadership or whatnot but that leader can be removed from his command solely for the reason of a “loss in confidence to lead” by his superiors.

I would hold that the election process must be held to the same standards and quite frankly it should be held to even higher standards. I say this because, to me, free and fair elections are what makes the United States of America one of the greatest nations ever, if not the greatest nation, to exist on the face of the earth. Currently, there is great mistrust in the election process and by extension the elected leaders of the nation. Why is there a great mistrust? I would posit that there is great mistrust because of computerized election machines, computerized vote tabulating, and computerized result reporting. Quite honestly, speaking from experience, most of the citizenry does not understand how computers work to include the hardware and especially how software is written to control machines. I would even postulate this includes the vast majority of election officials in the many election’s offices throughout the country. This mistrust the election process is harbored by a great number of Americans in this nation solely because they do not understand how all the computerized election processes work. Perhaps it is time to “relieve the current election process of its authority due to a lack of confidence in its ability to be objective”.

I consider myself more technologically savvy than many of people and perhaps it is for that reason that I am not comfortable with computerized voting machines. I made a point of learning programming languages in my youth and have lived, firsthand, through the rise of Big Tech and its ever increasing encroachment into my life. This encroachment has included a gradual loss of control of my computer and autonomy with each “upgrade” pushed by Microsoft and other application developers. So much so that I feel, despite owning my computer and phone, that I no longer control these machines. For me it is not a great intellectual leap to imagine that the software developers of these computerized voting machines could write code to remotely control them. Which begs the question are they, in fact, remotely controlling them? I do not know but I do not have confidence in the ability of computerized election equipment to objectively report results nor I do not have confidence that programs (algorithms) cannot be changed remotely. To me that should be enough to throw the system out and return to paper ballots with a way to verify the identification of each voter to ensure they have the legal right to vote.

One may ask why paper ballots and hasn’t there also been cheating with paper ballots? Absolutely there has been cheating and it is a far less efficient way to count ballots without a doubt. What I would like to submit, however, is that it makes it harder to cheat. For instance, one does not need to be a computer programmer with forensic abilities to observe the cheating because all one needs is to have eyes to see the cheating. It will take the power back from the computer ballots manufacturers and programmers (big tech) and redistribute power back to the county and local election officials’ offices where it should be. It will put many of the people at ease that they can physically see, touch, and listen to the process that receives and tabulates the elections and reports the results. The current “black box” is not the solution for our nations most sacred institution; elections in which everyone is equal because each person, no matter how rich or poor, politically connected or not, has one vote and only one vote.

Random Musings on Current Events 8.12.22

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media and from behind the lines in an increasingly blue state.

President Trump’s home in Florida is raided by the FBI and DOJ! I must ask myself if a Rubicon of sorts has been crossed and has a dangerous precedent being set? What strikes me is that even Yahoo and other leftist news outlets have been relatively quiet about this. I am surprised that they have not been trumpeting on and on about this event.

Considering the FBI and DOJ apparent conducting a search of a former President’s residence for what seems like politically motivated reasons I have to say that my mistrust of Federal Law enforcement notched up a tick or two. Now I must wonder what can happen to me because I am quite certain that what I am posting on my blog is not in line with the current left wing party narrative. Will the FBI come to my residence early in the morning unannounced and force me to stand outside while they “search” my residence? Who is to say that they will not plant something to charge me with or steal, pardon me confiscate or impound, valuable items that I may possess. I would imagine that Trotsky, Mao, and Stalin are jumping for joy in hell while Washington, Adams, and Jefferson are rolling over in their graves right now.

Speaking of federal government overreach and that I wrote earlier about the Inflation Reduction Act and my doubts that it will do anything to help me. Well, it seems my suspicions were not unfounded in at least one respect. 87,000 new IRS agents that as part of their job descriptions states that they must be willing to use deadly force if necessary? On top of that language that anyone making less than $400,000 per year keeps getting removed from the bill really does not give me warm feelings about this. It appears to be yet another front being reinforced in the war against the middle class. Additionally, it strikes me that as the military is being gutted from within by wokisms and mandatory injections of a product in stage 3 clinical trials the IRS appears to be raising an army. The only trouble is the army being raised by the IRS will not be held in check by Posse Comitatus ACT that limits the current military from acting within US borders.

I have a guilty pleasure that I must confess and that is I like to watch baseball. In fact, I even subscribe to Major League Baseball’s streaming service so that I can watch my favorite team’s games. This year I would have to say that my favorite team is under performing and not being on the inside I am sure it can be for any number of reasons that they are not performing. Some are obvious as they have been plagued by injuries which is just part of the game. Some reasons could be club house chemistry which I have no idea or I am in no position to comment. One thing for certain that strikes me odd is during the commercial breaks there are these segments that highlight different players from different teams around the league and not ever is there a highlighting of a player from my team.

Why is this I ask myself when there is multiple all stars on my team? Could it be a sort of retribution of my favorite team’s manager not going to the White House after their last World Series Victory for publicly stated political reasons? Could it be because my favorite team continues to support scams such as Black Lives Matter and flies all the rainbow flags loudly and proudly during Pride Month? I do not know for certain but all these examples have certainly soured my opinion of my favorite team’s management and ownership. I certainly appreciate their past commitment to winning, however, I will admit my feelings toward them have soured in recent years. So much so that I am considering whether I will continue to follow them after this year. It just is not entertaining having so much politics injected into what I consider to be entertainment. Especially when I disagree so vehemently with their politics and their opinions which are the opinions of millionaires.

I have been reading and hearing all sorts of things about a gentlemen named Yuval Noah Harari and none of it has been too flattering. I finally got an opportunity to watch him on television yesterday. I focused on his eyes while speaking and to be honest they never seemed to squint or open with expression. I could swear that his pupils never changed unlike those who were interviewing him.

God bless America and all its citizens, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere in between. Additionally, forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me.

The “Inflation Reduction Act”? It probably should be titled the “Take More Rights and Money Away From Me and Give To Special Interests Act”. Give me a break. Like I expect that a bunch of politicians drunk on special interest money are going to reduce inflation for me? I do not care what any politician tells me about how it is not targeting me or how fair it is because it is all a bunch of election year hogwash. Let me sell you some beach front property in Arizona while you are at it.

Blackstone has secured $24.1 billion of commitments for a fund to invest in residential real estate? Wow, do you think the new aristocracy gives a rip about the American Dream of owning one’s own home? Looks like the next step in the creation of a new global feudal society.

Jeff Bezos’s super yacht was moved under the cover of darkness. Why is it that the powered elites always must do their business in the dark?

Is anyone else tired of hearing the name Cheney? Talk about a corrupt family that made its wealth off the public trough. Personally, the continuation of Cheney’s anywhere near public life, I think, is a great threat to the United States. Pardon me while I think of another way to start a war in which my friends and I can get rich. God bless you Dick Cheney because from my point of view, which I admit means nothing, you will need it.

I see Paul Pelosi has sold his NVIDIA stock at a loss due to increasing pressure from the media, judiciary and whoever else. Is there anyone else out there that believes he will not be back at it in a few months? I am sure there will be another hot insider trading tip before the next election.

Speaking of the Pelosi’s! Does anyone else find it interesting that Speaker Pelosi was in Asia the same day that Mr. Pelosi was being arraigned for his DWI offense? Is anyone else asking themselves why Speaker Pelosi is doing this trip in the first place? I know several of the people in podcast land have their opinions and I cannot argue for or against other than their arguments (JP and MA) make sense. Thoughts that I personally have include, like Presidents, she went overseas because her domestic world is failing, the President in incapable of foreign visits and there are business interests demanding high level government attention. Of course, politics is her business, literally considering how much money her family has made from politics, so it could be either or any or all of the above reasons. Nevertheless, one thing for certain is, her visit will not provide any value to me or my standard of living.

Las Vegas is flooding! OK, this is not the first time nor will it be the last time. There are these things called washes which are essentially dry riverbeds that run through Las Vegas that fill up once in a blue moon when there are torrential down pours. This is not the first time nor will it be the last time.

Speaking of flooding god bless those who have died in the Kentucky floods and to their families as well.

The eruption of the Unga Tonga-Hung Ha’apai volcano this past January 15th has been considered by NASA and others to be the largest volcanic eruption since Mt. Pinatubo in 1991. Some are even comparing it to the eruption of Krakatoa in 1883. I find it interesting how after discussing the ejection of sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere that reflects sunlight etc. a few weeks ago now it is water vapor that has been ejected into the stratosphere as well. Sulfur dioxide reflects sunlight and can cause cooling much like Krakatoa did in 1883 and subsequent years. Now, however, as if on cue after the initial postulations Tonga-Hung ejected more water than did Krakatoa (How do they know this? Who knows) and water will “have a greenhouse gas effect” and warm the atmosphere. I am so cynical that I cannot help but wonder if the greenhouse effect is just a knee jerk response to support the environmentalist narrative? I guess my faith in official sciencedom is not too strong.

I watched the first two seasons of a show on Netflix called “The Umbrella Academy” in which a group of misfits with superpowers work to save the world from time and themselves and I found it good enough, obviously, to watch the first two seasons. The third season has been released and one of the female characters has decided to identify as a male and I have to say I am not sure that I am going to watch anymore of this program. In fact, my wife has been suggesting that we once and for all leave Netflix and I think that I may relent. This is the last straw and after subscribing to Netflix for over 20 years I am done.

I think that I have written about this in the past but I am sick and tired of the LGBTQRSTUV movement and its co-opting of beautiful things. In particular, I am pissed about the rainbow representing homosexuality and now spirals. Why is it that this leftist cabal of degenerates has to sully, soil, and destroy beauty? I love rainbows because they are the reflection of the sun in rain and sun life is affirmed. I say F*** them and all who identify rainbows with the LGBTQRSTUV movement! I identify with rainbows as a heterosexual male of European decent because they are beautiful and if you don’t like it, you can go and get whatever it is you identify with!

I learned some things this past weekend about pedophiles, establishments that cater to pedophiles, and symbols that have been used to signify “pedo friendly” establishments. As a survivor of pedophilia, it makes my stomach queasy thinking about this. It makes me especially queasy thinking that there is a whole underground set up for this grotesqueness. I am not sure what to do with this information but it certainly seems that this is going to forever be a part of my life whether I want it to be or not.

My condolences to the family of NBA legend Bill Russel. May he rest in peace.

The House passed a bill to ban “assault weapons” which is essentially a ban on all semi-automatic weapons. Yet another example of after compromising with these leftist idealogues and they come back demanding more. They will not stop until they have completely dismantled the Constitution and any remnants that remain of our Constitutional Republic. It is time to stand up and say no.

Speaking of saying no, I am constantly reminded of California flight to where I live and other places further inland and additionally flight from where I live further into the interior of the country. I propose that rather than fleeing perhaps people should stand up and say no to those who are destroying the places where you live. Like bullies on the playground, the only way to stop their bullying is to stand up and say no to them. Quit being spineless wallflowers and start standing up because the bullies will keep following you. Guaranteed.

God bless America and all its citizens, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere in between. Additionally, forgive me my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me.

There was a song playing on the radio a few minutes ago and it really seemed to have the vibe and feel of how I am feeling today. Finally, I realized the name of the song and it was Rude Mood by Stevie Ray Vaughn and the name alone if fitting for how I, in general, have felt all week.

Yesterday the smoke rolled in from the Oak Fire west of Yosemite National Park and of course as if on cue ABC News and USA Today are blaming it on climate change which just made me yawn. No mention of forest mismanagement on California and blah blah blah. Call me conspiratorial, which perhaps I am, but we have gone all summer without a major fire and what happens the week that President Biden does not implement the “Environmental Emergency” but a conflagration that grows to over 10,000 acres in less than 24 hours. Whereas, a fire that started several weeks ago, the Washburn Fire, east of Yosemite in arguably harder to reach terrain on July 7, 2022, is still under 5,000 acres in size. Oh, another difference is that CALFIRE, a California Agency, is managing the Oak Fire versus the   US Forest Service that is managing the Washburn Fire. Is this a coincidence? I do not know but considering that the level of trust remaining in my trust tank is extremely low I must wonder if it is not a coincidence. In the meantime, as has been for the last three summers I have a slight headache, my nose is plugged, my eyes burn and my lungs have a slight ache from breathing all of California’s defecation.

Since I am in a rude mood and because the Oak Fire spread so rapidly and violently and it is hard to know with what CALFIRE responded with to this fire. The US Forest Service reports the assets that they have allocated to their incidents but CALFIRE does not. Is this a case, similar to last year’s Dixie Fire, which was allowed to essentially burn until the fall, over three months, due to a lack of initial response? Afire started by Pacific Gas and Electric’s poorly maintained power lines contacting trees and that before it was extinguished had engulfed nearly 1 million acres in five counties and was the first fire to crest the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Then there was the Caldor Fire which was another fire started last year that was initially managed by CALFIRE that ultimately crested the Sierra Nevada Mountains becoming the second fire in history to do so and for several days threatened the Lake Tahoe Basin. Neither of these fires were fully contained until the first rains fell in October. Oh, and let us not forget that CALFIRE is yet another California governmental agency that is under no other than California’s Governor Newsom. Let’s not forget the Tamarack Fire, another CALFIRE initially responded to incident that was allowed to burn for several days until high winds kicked it up and it burned into the state of Nevada. I wonder how long the US Forest Service will continue to report in detail their response effort because we all know Governor Newsom answers to Nancy Pelosi, how corrupt that political machine is and how much they want to obfuscate and keep the general public in the dark to hide their machine’s corrupt political machinations. After all, they must eat at The Laundry on a regular basis and it is expensive and they need money to pay for their meals. Doesn’t everyone?

Speaking of California and San Francisco in particular is anyone else outraged that children a contracting Monkey Pox. A disease spread by close intimate contract to include saliva, seamen, and blood? My goodness, wake up America, a disease that is primarily found in homosexual male populations is now in children? What does that tell you other than most of these children have contracted Monkey Pox from pedophiles. Why aren’t the police tracing who these children have been with, arresting them, and charging them with crimes against children? This is f***ing disgusting!!!

I was just reminded that the US Federal Reserve expanded the US Dollar money supply by 40% prior to COVID and the Ukrainian War ostensibly to bail out the banks that were about to fail. Funny how even my memory can be short at times.

Speaking of the US Federal Reserve, I just read an article that the US Federal Reserve really has no power left to stop inflation because the US is in massive debt. Not only public debt but also private debt and personal debt. A telling statistic for me is that the majority of Americans equity in their homes is somewhere around 33% when it was 85% after World War II. The good modern day tenants to the modern day financial aristocracy now owe so much more that they truly have become a sort of peasant tenant tied to the property. This while there continue to be advertisements for home equity loans and one just has to say, hmm.

Thanks to JP I read an article about Shasta Country in California and of course the mainstream reporting was negative toward the citizens of Shasta County who are retaking the get along go along government official who may have even been socialists in sheep’s clothing. It really pumped me up to see that some in the Golden State are fighting to return to their once greatness. Go Jefferson!

I have noticed that some of the podcasts that I routinely listen to that would be considered on the conservative side have been delayed lately on the i-Tunes site. Is this a coincidence? I wonder.

Another thing that I have noticed this week is an increase in the number of apparent spam calls to my phone from places all over the country. Do I have any conclusions or reasons why this might be happening? No, for now it is just another data point.

Lastly, while China is in an uproar over the potential visit of US Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan Senate Majority leader Schumer has stripped “anti-China” verbiage from a multibillion dollar tech industry research and development bill for the US technology sector. First, why is the government passing bills giving $250 billion to semiconductor chip manufacturers? Don’t they already make enough money? Wouldn’t that $250 billion be better spent on bridges, roads, railroads etc.? Secondly, China!?! A country that stifles and caps free thought and individualism and that must steal technology in order to compete. Yet another article to keep my mood rude.

God bless America and all its citizens, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere in between.

Council for Inclusive Capitalism? Wow! That sounds like a benevolent and inclusive organization that will do wonders for the world. My apologies if you could not hear, see, or feel the sarcasm dripping in the previous sentence because I certainly felt it typing.

San Diego Public Schools bring back Mask Mandate. Huh? Did I just actually read that?

Why is Congress voting on a “competition bill” next week that gives the semiconductor industry a $52 billion subsidy? Oh yes, it appears, that Paul Pelosi recently bought $5 million in stocks of Nvidia last week. That must be why we need to give them a subsidy. I mean, duh! He needs money to pay attorneys and whoever else to get out of his DUI after all. Sheesh, of course, isn’t that normal?

Oh my goodness Monkey Pox in coming! Monkey Pox is coming and Anthony Fauci just announced his retirement at the end of Joe Biden’s term. What are we going to do!?!? Of course, it could be two weeks or 6 years depending upon how long his doubles stay alive and the election rigging goes unchecked. I suppose Mr. Fauci needs to pad his retirement account a bit more so once again, Monkey Pox is coming! Monkey Pox is coming!

I just learned that, evidently, as part of the latest spending bill Representative Schiff inserted language that would remove all congressional over-site of the military. Included in the language is that the biggest threat to the United States is its own citizens. In a sense I must agree with that language. The only trouble is the biggest threat to the Constitutional republic, in my opinion, is Rep. Schiff and others in the Uni Party. That this would give the President dictatorial powers, as some say, I am not so sure. Others that I have listened to have said it is nothing new and all it does is codify what the President already does. My thought and injection into this discussion is that Congress still has the power of the purse and could just shut funding off and take back the powers that it has ceded to the Executive Branch. A very mean feat I will admit but still within its Constitutional powers, nevertheless.

I read that California’s Governor Newsom still has not lifted “states of emergencies” in counties throughout the state of California. This in turn has given counties justification to keep rent protections in place. This is an overt attack on the middle class. Solano County, for instance, says rent protections will continue for 90 days after the state of emergency terminates and there is no scheduled termination date. Isn’t this a gross overreach of executive authority? Where is the legislative branch to step in and limit this executive authority? A never ending emergency to justify the continuation of dictatorial powers. Isn’t this similar to President Biden’s discussion of declaring a “climate emergency”? Just another instance that the Legislative branch has ceded unconstitutional authorities to the Executive branch in the name of an emergency with no check or limits on the authorities. The socialist/communists saw what they could get away with in COVID and continue to abuse and or look for more ways to abuse these authorities.

A central bank digital currency? We may as well be getting the mark of the beast tattooed on our foreheads. If people do not think that people in their government will track them, they are either naive, to ignorant of history or to drugged up to care. Thanks to JP for the enlightenment on the last portion of the previous sentence because it is so true in so many cases.

So, BMW wants to be able to charge monthly to be able to use the seat heater in a car that you supposedly own. Tesla essentially needs to update their vehicles software regularly or the car that you bought from them will shut down similar to Microsoft always pushing updates to the computers we own but obviously do not control. Does anyone but me see the problem here? One pays money for a vehicle and then must pay licensing fees to use the vehicle. Not only that but if anyone, for instance the government, wants to shut “your” vehicle down and track where your vehicle travels, they can do so. Quite frankly the thought of it gives me a bad case of indigestion.

So, if anyone believes we should listen to the greens and adopt all their policies I suggest they pay a visit to Sri Lanka.

I just spoke to two people who paid separate visits each to different local grocery stores. In one of the stores, part of a large regional chain, the store manager told my friend that the sheer volume of price hikes per week has lessened a bit. At one point they were raising the price on average of 75 items per week for several weeks. Additionally, my friend noted that items on the shelves are being spread out in several places as several items are out of stock. This leads me to my other friend’s observation. In the grocery store that they normally frequent there are two sections of chest freezer normally containing meat for sale that are covered up and out of use.

God bless America both to those who are patriots, those who are enemies and to those who fall somewhere in between.

Revolutions

I read an article by Brian Maher in which he contrasts the differences between the American Revolution and French Revolution. In general, he postulates that the American Revolution was more about reform so that the Americans might better return to and preserve their rights guaranteed under English Law. The French Revolution, instead, was a complete tear down and rebuilding of society to include changing the calendar and throwing out God. Needless to say, this article has gotten me thinking about current events in the world and the similarities so succinctly presented and argued by Mr. Maher.

While reading his article I could not help but look at the Globalist Socialist Movement and sense that they are revolutionaries in the sense of the French Revolutionaries. They provide no value to society as it exists currently and quite frankly have no respect for our society, its norms and especially for the US Constitution. True no society and its government is perfect and I agree many of the things happening today in society and in government should be changed, however, I do not think we should not throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak. I believe the way to approach change is through the constitutional framework already established that led this country to become the greatest country on earth.

Do I believe this is possible and practical? I am unsure because on a societal level the fundamental respects necessary for a constitutional republic have been slowly eroded almost from the beginning and are being eroded even more rapidly leading up to today. For those with knowledge of mathematics the equations signifying this erosion with respect to time is not linear but rather is at a minimum a second order or exponential function. So, if one were to look at a graph with time on the bottom axis and disrespect for the constitutional republic on the vertical axis to the left, the curve would start out as a line barely perceptible at the time of the US Constitution’s ratification and continue barely rising for several decades. Of course, there would be some blips and nothing is perfect and smooth when it relates to humans and their behavior. Starting with the US Civil War we would start to see the line move away from horizontal. Then with the age of the Robber Barons and Trust Busting the curve would increase more and more away from a horizontal orientation faster and faster and begin to look more and more like a vertical line today. Thinking about this curve I cannot help but think how this curve directly correlates to the size and power of governments in our lives. Yes, I mean governments, plural.

OK, great, so what and now what? This leads to fundamental question of how to reverse a trend that has building steam, so to speak, for centuries. What went wrong in the interpretations and implementations of law so that the law, government and society in general no longer respect, understand, or care to know about what I consider to be the most beautiful document for governing people the world has ever seen? Is it mans want for security over freedom or perhaps sheer laziness to exert the energy necessary to thrive in freedom? Is it perfect? Obviously not because we are in the situation that we currently find ourselves in. However, the spirit of the Constitution is one of beauty and we must not allow this spirit to be tarnished any more than it already has. We must remember that the men who created this wonderful document were “firmly grounded in the good, hard earth – and history” as Mr. Maher stated in his article. Something missing in most law makers today.

I often find myself asking how do I as a citizen who respects, honors, and have taken an oath several times to defend the Constitution defend this document? How do I defend this document against people who have no respect for or intention of defending it both inside and outside of government both foreign and domestic? Who and what groups really are in insurrection against the foundations of our Constitutional republic? At what point, if at all, is it OK to ignore the Constitution to prosecute those who do not respect it both inside and outside of government both foreign and domestic and what would that look like? Being seriously uncomfortable with the previous sentence and its ramifications perhaps we should be asking how do we Constitutionally declare war against the enemies of our Constitution, both foreign and domestic? Honestly, it frightens me and makes me shudder to think about what such a declaration could lead to in the short term. In the long term it maybe the best course of action but it will not be easy in the least.

Unfortunately, I have asked a whole bunch of questions and I have no answers or at least any answers I would like to share in a public forum. No answers that I would want to share or discuss in a public forum in a society that is becoming increasingly polarized and seemingly unable to take a step back and have civil and reasoned discourse.

Ukrainian President Zelensky claims Russia fired deliberately, purposefully at ordinary houses. Ok, this is war and atrocities happen undoubtedly. However, I do not know the full story. Perhaps the “ordinary house” was being used to shoot at Russian troops? Perhaps, it really was not really an ordinary house. President Zelensky, you messed up when you listened to your CIA handlers and allowed a war to happen between you and your next door neighbor who happens to be a big brother that you do not get along with. If you expect the United States to be able to support you just ask Poland what happened to them when England promised to support them before WWII.

Netherlands farmer’s revolt over what I have heard are nitrogen emissions or pollution or something else about nitrogen. This, to me, does not make sense considering crops require nitrogen to grow and our atmosphere comprises something in the neighborhood of 89% nitrogen. What really is at play here? Who is behind these “environmental” regulations and what is their real end game? Something is a foot here and it seems anti life and as if someone or something is trying to really disrupt the world’s food sources. I cannot help but think about how Stalin starved the Ukrainians and how the English starved the Irish. It would not be the first time food has been used as a weapon for certain.

I read that the price of gold and silver are falling because the price of the dollar is strengthening. This because there is “…flight from the Euro and Yen to the dollar”. So let me think about this for a New York second. People are dropping fiat currencies and fleeing to another fiat currency because that particular fiat currency is the world reserve currency because Saudi Arabia has, up to this point, only traded its oil in this particular fiat currency. Saudi Arabia’s crown prince has stated that Saudi Arabia should be willing to trade its oil in other currencies to “balance” the world’s economic powers or something to that affect. Uh oh, how long will the paper gold and silver traders be able to keep their charade up? It is becoming apparent to me that, perhaps, the gold and silver trader’s paper could be fiat at this point as well.

China has an increase in COVID outbreaks leading to shutdowns at the same time banks are beginning to fail in China. Is this coincidental or are they related? Call me cynical but I would not be the least bit surprised that a power hungry elite controlling the largest population on earth would use a virus to imprison their people as the specter of bank failures and increasing riots loom. If they had free and fair elections, I would think that they might even use a virus to rig the elections but I am not the least bit cynical.

Interesting that Canada is allowing Russia’s Siemens repaired turbine be returned to Russia. A turbine that Russia owns by the way. I guess Canada blinked because of the threat of Europe freezing this winter. I wonder how many people realize that Siemens Canada was once a Westinghouse facility, an American company, that built turbines?

NPR Tweets about Shinzo Abe’s death and called him an ultra-nationalist. This while President Obama, woops, I mean President Biden used his death as a platform to call for gun control. These people have no respect for life or death.

I learned a new term this week and it is called Dragflation and it means inflation rises while an economy declines. It seems some are predicting just this for the US and other post COVID economies around the world.

Rest in Peace Ivana Trump and my condolences to your family.

God bless America both to those who are patriots, those who are enemies and to those who fall somewhere in between.

However, it now appears that Elon Musk is no longer purchasing Twitter. It seems Twitter has too many fake accounts being used to bolster their supposed user numbers and fake account numbers. Fake accounts, bots, and spam accounts. I think that I will no longer even mention Twitter and Facebook because they are fake. Talk about a waste of breath and time even mentioning them.

President Biden spoke in Ohio this week in which he blamed Vladimir Putin, greedy oil companies and who knows who or whatever else except for what truly is to blame. An out of control bureaucracy that thwarts oil and gas at every turn. Granted, the fossil fuel industry does not have saints running it and I truly believe alternative energies such as geothermal, wind, and solar should absolutely be incentivized and encouraged but I have no illusions that they are suitable to completely replace fossil fuels. No matter what pound per pound fossil fuels provide much more energy. Perhaps, the deal Hunter Biden made with SINOPEC via their American subsidiary UNIPEC for our strategic reserves should be rescinded and instead that oil should be put into the US economy. Such a bunch of corrupt opportunists and I will type no more as I can better use the time to work to pay for my vehicle’s gasoline.

I woke up to the smell of burning timber in the air this morning. It seems another wildfire in California is burning and being down wind, I am smelling, for yet another summer, the defecation blowing in from a dis functionally run, despotic, one party Democratically run state. I bring this up every year and I am getting tired of it, but Democrats appear to be nothing more than leeches that feed off the carcasses of once great and thriving communities, states, and countries. Take for example the cities of Baltimore, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Cleveland and the states of California, New York and Illinois. Now the worthless looting and mooching class of elites wants to completely kill the United States of America so that we can join the ranks of Venezuela and other once great and vibrant countries and that are now worthless countries who have lost their ways.

Speaking of poorly mismanaged communities there has been yet another mass shooting tragedy in a Democratically run community. I pray for the victims of the Highland Park shooting. I read the conservative press is rightfully pointing out that that Highland Park and Illinois, in general, have some of the most stringent gun control laws in the nation. What I fear and expect is the leftist pro-gun control group will raise the stakes now and demand that there be no guns allowed, period. The Fourth of July, what a day to pick to commit an atrocity such as this. Do you think the shooter might be an enemy of the state?

Let us also not overlook the shooting in Copenhagen, Denmark over this past weekend also. A country in with very restrictive gun laws. Evidently the weapons used was purchased legally but the person using the weapon did not have legal possession of the weapons. Therein lies the crux of the matter in my opinion. The weapons somehow ended up illegally in the possession of someone illegally who used the weapons to commit a crime. The weapons are not criminal, the people who used the weapons are criminal.

Speaking of the Fourth of July and its weekend, Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney spouted diatribes to the effect that Donald Trump making a political comeback would be disastrous for America and or the Republican Party. Let me think about this for a New York second Senator Romney and Representative Cheney. When President Trump held the office of President, I was paying half the cost for gasoline and food that I am now paying, the Taliban in Afghanistan did not have three quarters of a billion dollars in weapons that they now have, Russia and China were much friendlier, and there did not seem to be as many “mass shootings” as there are now. So, what America and Republican Parties are you speaking of that would it be disastrous for? The America and Party that rewards with graft and pork the states that you represent, the America and Republican Party that rewards a small elite of corrupt politicians and their donors, the America and Republican Party that seeks endless wars and crisis to support the graft and political favors? I know Donald Trump is not a “nice guy” and I am somewhat uneasy about what his true intents are, but I know what your true intents are and, quite frankly, I prospered more under a Trump administration, despite all the obstacles put in his way, than I have under any other presidential administration in my lifetime. Maybe the military industrial complex that pay your bills lost money but I certainly did better.

In closing I have only one thing to say with “There You Go” by Johnny Cash playing in the background, “God bless America and I mean God bless to all who are in this country; both to those who are patriots, those who are enemies and to those who fall somewhere in between.”

Random Musings On Current Events 7.1.22

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media. Additionally, I know, and it has been proven, that Twitter and Facebook would censor what I have to say so I will say what I feel the need to say in this medium. However, with Elon Musk purchasing Twitter perhaps I will have to take Twitter out of my introduction but not just yet. Time will tell I and for that reason I will not remove Twitter just yet from my Random Musings On Current Events introductory paragraph.

So, my current events this week have very little to do with is happening outside of my immediate reality which consisted of getting a project out the door, preparing and delivering a technical speech, harvesting 16 chickens for meat, getting another project out for a milestone and little else. Now it is time to turn a local radio station on, yes, I still listen to music over the air waves at times, and have already heard a song by Rush, “Closer to the Heart” and another by Royal Blood, “Honey Brains”.

The Supreme Court certainly has provided lots to discuss this week and last week and I have to say that I am relieved with pretty much every decision that has been passed down. Between the overturn of Roe vs. Wade, the refutation of having to prove the need for conceal carry and the ruling on Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) overstep I would have to say we, as a country, are a bit freer today than we were two weeks ago. As a Constitutional Conservative it appears that all this Supreme Court has done is to return our country a little bit of step back toward a literal interpretation of the US Constitution and thereby refuting, albeit a small step, judicial activism. Judicial activism which, to me, is one of the great threats to our constitutional republic.

Speaking of which it appears the EPA has now moved from carbon emissions to ozone emissions and is threatening to shut down one of the biggest oil fields in Texas because of “ozone emissions”. Ozone emissions? What? I think it bears repeating that the EPA along with most other three letter agencies are out of control and operating “off the reservation” outside of their constitutionally dictated parameters. In other words, as the Supreme Court ruled this week, outside of their Congressionally delegated authorities. Perhaps, some of the greatest enemies within to our constitutional democracy are some of s the bureaucrats who seem to thrive behind the veil of government protection in these three letter agencies?

Lastly, I cannot believe this is our countries 246th birthday. I can remember the bicentennial and like all memories it seems like just other day when I remember the day, events, and feelings around the bicentennial. However, when I think about all that has happened to me and world since then I shake my head at how much the world has changed and all that truly has happened. It is a different world for sure and hopefully the United States of America will make it to her 250th birthday as a constitutional republic. Regardless, I would like to say, Happy Birthday America!

In closing I have only one thing to say with “There You Go” by Johnny Cash playing in the background, “God bless America and I mean God bless to all who are in this country; both to those who are patriots, those who are enemies and to those who fall somewhere in between.”

Senators McConnell, Graham, Cornyn, Tillis, Collins, Cassidy, Blunt, Burr, Portman, Capito, Ernst, Murkowski, Young, Toomey, and Romney should be ashamed of themselves and their vote for the “gun control” bill just ramrodded through Congress. Actually, all Senators and Representatives who vote for this bill should be ashamed of themselves considering they all took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. I thought the Senate was supposed to be the national legislative chamber that is reasoned and less susceptible to the whims of faddish and fickle public sentiment and of media whims. Just as soon as this bill is passed, and it goes into effect there should be lawsuits immediately dropped due to the unconstitutionality of its supporting subjective red flag laws and etc. Tell me how this would have prevented the Uvalde shooting and other shootings? Instead, it could empower corrupt local law enforcement, politicians, and other power elites to randomly disarm any of their opponents without due process. When the rational are made out to be the criminal then the criminals are truly the ones in charge and a true war against the rational citizen is being waged in this country. Leon Trotsky must be jumping up with glee in his grave as even the opposition has become more concerned with their public appearances and perceived reelectability than doing the right thing by the Constitution and common citizen.

It appears official now that Roe versus Wade has been overturned. I will not even discuss abortion, which I do not agree with in the majority of instances. What I am happy about is the US Supreme Court has made a decision effectively returning power to make these types of decisions back to the states as the founders intended.  I would imagine the global leftist movement will be rioting and protesting and the police will be doing next to nothing to stop this rioting. In fact, the press will probably claim it is peaceful protesting with a small fringe causing all the trouble. A complete opposite portrayal of what happened on January 6, 2020, in Washington D.C. which was by and large a peaceful protest until a Capitol Police officer shot an unarmed civilian. What can I do? I can no longer carry a weapon to defend myself, the police are no longer capable of responding to violence (i.e Uvalde, riots of 2019), and I would assume a new plague is lurking around the corner that officials will demand masks be worn again. My rational mind is screaming to me that there is something rotten about this picture and the losses of freedom for self-determination and the ability to defend myself and my family.

I read a headline in which Ireland may reintroduce forced mask wearing again according to Stephen Donnelly, Ireland’s pro-lock down Minister for Health. This while others in the EU ministries want to mandate mask wearing every winter. What has happened to the European man and woman? I will never visit anywhere that requires me to wear a mask. So much for my tourism or business dollar. The European mandarins must really be concerned about the impending shortages in food and energy this winter.

“Tech Glitches” have delayed voting results in the county that I live. According to the local Gannet rag, “… county tested its voting results dashboard back in May, but on the night of … primary election, things didn’t go smoothly – so it has revised testing protocols to keep reporting delays from happening again.” Of course, I am to believe all computers are infallible and secure and we do not need to worry about the appearance of any trouble in our voting systems according to experts. These are the same experts that county voting officials rely on to trouble shoot and provide other technical services for the machine’s operations. These county voting officials have no clue how the inner workings of these machines work or what is possible because, to be honest, the county I live in is more interested in hiring people with political connections than spending the money to hire true information technology experts. These same county voting officials apparently do not understand that when they give away the control to understand and know how these machines work, in the name of ease and efficiency, that they have effectively ceded their ability to monitor the vote. This is another argument for the paper ballot because they are not technologically complicated and most anyone can look at and understand how to count paper ballots. I shake my head in disbelief that I am supposed to believe that there was nothing untoward with the 2020 election or any other election since the advent of computerized voting machines being used.

As I acknowledge the Summer Solstice here in the inter mountain west it has been a strange spring having just experienced yet another snow fall in the upper elevations. It has been quite a while since we have experienced this sort of spring and it just seems that the sun has a sort of subdued quality. I had not paid too much attention to this because for other reasons, like for instance grief, I have been barely able to do the minimum required to stay alive. Then late last week, I listened to a couple of podcasts in which one had a gentleman who suggested a form of atmospheric poisoning was occurring in jet contrails and in the other the gentleman mentioned how large the ash plume was from the Tongan volcanic eruption this past January 15th. In fact, the eruption is now considered to have been in the magnitude of Krakatowa’s eruption in 1883. I am somewhat skeptical of the jet chem trails conspiracy considering I have been hearing about this for decades despite knowing cloud seeding experiments were happening in the late 1970. I would think someone would have found or revealed a “smoking gun” proving the jet chem trail conspiracy by now. Maybe they have but I have yet to see any evidence.

On the other hand, the volcanic explosion is a viable reason for a global cool down for a couple of years. After all NASA is reporting that the, “…giant plume of gases, water vapor and dust particles pushed into the sky by the eruption created large pressure disturbances in the atmosphere, leading to strong winds…” The article further elaborated on ionospheric winds and its electric current flipping which really is quite fascinating. However, on a more mundane level tons and tons of particles were pushed up into the outer reaches of our atmosphere. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to deduce that there is more dust potentially reflecting sunlight (to be accurate dust laden with sulfur dioxide gas which reflects solar radiation back to space). This push into the outer reaches of our atmosphere can take years to settle back out into the atmosphere’s lower levels. On top of war in one of Europe’s bread baskets and supply chain break downs thanks to the manmade epidemic it appears we are, indeed, in for a “long volcanic winter”.

In closing I have only one thing to say, “God bless America and I mean God bless to all who are in this country; both to those who are patriots, those who are enemies and to those who fall somewhere in between.”
