Random Musings 8.29.20

Once again it is time for some Twitter (for those with a litigious bent there is a trademark symbol just after the “r” in the previous word) like random musings from the mind of a quiet, unassuming, at least in my own opinion, person observing the ramblings, rumblings and revelations in the media. Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

I keep seeing the image of Senator Paul holding up the police officer who had been assaulted by the mob that had surrounded the Senator and the police escorting the Senator and his wife back to their hotel. This was not a peaceful protest nor a peaceful situation and nothing bad would have come from it had the police not been there. I find it frightening that these protests have gotten to the point that they have gotten. Furthermore, what bothers me are the thoughts that I am starting to have with regards to making myself prepared to defend myself and my love ones. Preparations that I never would have imagined that I would have to make in the United States when I was serving in Afghanistan. I ask why has this lawlessness been allowed to deteriorate the point that it has? It is also plain to see the ignorance of those who surrounded the Senator regarding his legislative agenda in general. Or was it truly not ignorance on the organizers of the riotous behavior but something more sinister at its roots?

Oh, and memo to LeBron James and your fellow NBA players since you have chosen to boycott the NBA for a couple of games? Well I am going to boycott the NBA for at least a season or two. Screw you and imaginary horse you rode in on! I will not support a Marxist sympathizer nor a Marxist sympathizing organization. I know there are racial injustices and I have witnessed it, but Marxism is not the answer and I will fight it. Get an education before you spout uneducated diatribes that bite the hand that feeds you. Or better yet, move to China since you seem to like the CCP better than the United States. Go ahead and renounce your citizenship and get the f*&k out of my country!!!

Mr. Silver, you and rest of the professional sports organization better wake up and wake up quick. You have lost me and others who have been lifelong sports fans for the first time ever are doubting whether they will continue being fans. Quite catering to the lowest denominator. Educate about the evils of racism yes but supporting Marxist organizations and movements is going to cost you if it is not already costing you.

Tim Cook, same to you. The status quo is probably not the best but Marxism is a dark dark road and if you think you will be immune good luck. I am sure there were some powerful businessmen in France, Russia, China, Vietnam, and Venezuela who thought they were immune too. That is unless they voluntarily took their knee to whatever dictator it was that rose to the top of the anarchy, chaos, and brutality.

So, Riot Kitchen members were arrested with gasoline filled fuel cans, helmets, gas masks, protective vests, illegal fireworks, attempted escape and are members of an Antifa linked terrorist organization? Let’s see a group from Seattle in Michigan, with instruments of violence, resisting search? Hmmm, I am sure there is a federal statue somewhere that can put these bad actors out of service for a while.

I was impressed and glad to see no Hollywood speakers during the RNC this past week. It may explain why I watched the whole convention after the first night. Oh, and that firework display was amazing! I wanted to be there and watch it firsthand and it reminded me how the Democratic Governor of my state put such a wet blanket on all the Fourth of July celebrations in my state. I will definitely not forget. I love, amongst many other one liners from President Trump’s speech, “The Biden agenda is made in China, mine is made in America.”

Oh yes and where is Kamala Harris denouncing the killing of Patrick Underwood in her hometown of Oakland, California? It disgusts me.

The Purge, great ad.

I read the three men shot by Kyle Rittenhouse were each a felon! He was using a weapon loaned to him by a friend who lives in Kenosha after helping his friend clean up graffiti all day and, additionally, he and his friend were asked by the owner of the auto shop to help in its defense. Again, it is good to let the facts come out before rushing to judgement regardless if waiting fits one’s narrative or not.

Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

I watched the entire RNC telecast last night again. I have to admit that I found myself, again, amazed with some of the speakers and what they had to say. Clarence Henderson, Jack Brewer and Burgess Owens blew me away and they are true leaders.

I read today that Notre Dame is “distancing” themselves from Lou Holts. Dan Crenshaw has quite a story and a true hero and Governor Noem has steel in her veins. I would certainly consider moving to South Dakota but at some point, we conservatives need to quit running and stand up for what we believe in. I am not running but will the do the best I can in my state.

Chen Guangcheng knows firsthand what a country in the Marxists will do to its citizens. I have a friend who escaped communist Czechoslovakia decades ago and has since become a US Citizen. It is brutal but his take is that “Commies cannot be negotiated with they need to be killed”. When he told me that I was shocked because when I looked into his eyes he was serious but like Mr. Guangcheng he has lived under the jack boot of a Marxist Leninist Communist regime. Based on the riots, the Seattle Marxist Land and etc. I think we can only imagine that it will be the same in the US should they gain power.

Something else I noticed is that each night President Trump has either been live or with people. He has not been holed up in his office sending virtual messages.

So, Nancy Pelosi is floating that she would not recommend Joe Bidden meet President Trump for a debate or debates. And here we go.

The Republican Party truly seemed energized. It sure is nice to see the country club elite put on ice so to speak. I guess it took someone who owns country clubs to take care of them.

Something that keeps niggling me is the riots and Marxists who back them are getting money from somewhere. The groups are just too organized with communication devices, helmets, all black clothes, ability to move rioters from city to city, and other clues. Could there be a RICO case here?

Once again it is time for some Twitter (for those with a litigious bent there is a trademark symbol just after the “r” in the previous word) like random musings from the mind of a quiet, unassuming, at least in my own opinion, person observing the ramblings, rumblings and revelations in the media. Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

I watched the entire RNC telecast last night which, I admit, is the first live coverage of any convention I have watched since watching my first which was with my Grandparents in 1976. This was the convention that Ronald Regan lost to Gerald Ford and we all know how the election turned out in November of 1976. Something ironic about that is my grandparents were die hard democrats and had nothing good to say about “The Actor”.

First off, I enjoyed watching and listening to the five people take the Oath of Citizenship. I have to be honest that I have never listened nor read this oath before and I was humbled. To listen to these people voluntarily renounce allegiance to their previous government was as I just wrote, humbling. I think every high school civics or government class could include a reading of this oath. Having taken the military oath a few times I noted the similarities and differences. The one striking similarity that I noticed that both have the oath taker protecting The Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic.

Of course, this was a nice set up for First Lady Trump who herself has taken the Oath of Citizenship. For her speech I only have a couple of words and that she is a smart lady and one has to respect her journey based on her own merits at a minimum if nothing else.

Kentucky Attorney General Cameron rocked. He came across as poised, self-confident, intelligent and a politician. The last I would not consider a positive, however, the fact that his parents owned a coffee shop when he was young certainly helped to shape his outlook on life. In other words, I like his small business background and I hope he did not forget this in law school.

I noted after the conclusion of the RNC for the night Fox News had Chris Wallace speak last. What struck me is Chis Wallace’s talk about the president using the White House for a political convention and Secretary of State Pompeo being the first Secretary of State to speak at a convention. Ok, by themselves these are good points and should raise an eyebrow and Mr. Wallace did after pointing this out. However, let us take these comments into context. First, these are the first pandemic conventions with social distancing requirements and all the fear that comes along with a pandemic. Second, let us not forget all the other precedents that have been broken by the Democrats going back to President Roosevelt breaking through the two term limit and recently the weaponization of the DOJ and FBI against a political foe, and the completely partisan impeachment. Mr. Fox give me a break and I have to wonder why Fox gave Juan Williams and Chris Wallace the last word amongst pundits?

Ok, my mind took a dark turn this morning thinking about the possibility of a contested election as Hillary Clinton seems to be calling for. What if this goes on and the UN decides they need to send in “peace keeping” forces? Could this be the end game? No no no, the globalist elites would never endorse such a thing. Yes, there may have been some sarcasm dripping from the last sentence and yes, I agree it is far fetched but if I am thinking about it I have to believe someone else could be thinking about it.

Lastly, Kenosha, Wisconsin. The riots took a dark turn last night and not necessarily for the good. I see this afternoon that a young 17 year old has been arrested but I will not rush to judgement. I see the governor and others are now calling for an end to the violence and more National Guard is being called in. My first reaction is to say to the governor why did you wait for people to be killed? You had to know the way it was going to play out considering all that has happened this summer since the George Floyd death.

Quite honestly, I was beginning to wonder how long it was going to take before something like last night happened. When business owners, who are tax paying citizens, cannot expect or trust their government to protect their businesses there is going to come a point when the businesses owners are going to protect their businesses with or without the government. Governor Evers, and the other governors out there, can you blame the formation of groups like The Boogaloos from occurring? Remember the businesses pay taxes and license fees and provide employment. When you deliberately do not allow the police to do their jobs nor do you allow others to help people will be forced to take matters into their own hands or be destroyed. This is not a good thing because what this means is that people have lost faith in your government. This is dangerous and can lead to much pain and heartache. Quite honestly, the responsibility rests on the current batch of local elected leaders in my opinion. Elected leaders who seem unqualified, cynical, corrupt and or generally unsuited for their jobs.

Ok, I will admit I watched much of the Republican Convention coverage last night. It was absolutely refreshing to listen to the positivity instead the constant anti-Trump drumbeat. Despite the fact that Herschel Walker played for the dreaded Cowboys (I say that with tongue in cheek) I really liked what he had to say. Andrew Pollack, there are no words that can convey what he must have and continues to go through.

So, the Nielson ratings are out and evidently the viewership of the RNC is less than the DNC. Hmm, so the Nielson’s only poll for broadcast television? Talk about another irrelevant data collection organization. To the Nielson Management, “Did you get the memo that most conservatives no longer tune into broadcast media. This memo was probably sent more than eight years ago.” Leave it to the media, however, to use the Nielson’s as a source. If I were an advertising executive and I was supposed to design a marketing campaign solely around the Nielson ratings I would think that I would be summarily fired and banned from my profession. But then again, I am not an advertising executive. Let us not forget the Progressive Media Propaganda Networks also changed their coverage times for the RNC also. Just more noise to distort the facts. Blah blah blah

Wow! I just learned that Speaker Pelosi is from Baltimore and that her brother and father were Democratic mayors of Baltimore at one time going back to 1947.

Speaking of Speaker Pelosi does it ring hollow to anyone else that she is lecturing us all on how President Trump is a threat to the Constitution?

Oh yes, which reminds me, I loved how some of the speakers last night called out California and its failures under one party, Democratic Party, rule. Let us remember the Summer of Love movement that has, over time, morphed into the Summer of Hate movement began in San Francisco, Mrs. Pelosi’s hometown.

Speaking of ANTIFA, has anyone put together that Portland, Oregon metropolitan area is the home to Nike? Does anyone else find it interesting that the company who panders to Colin Kaepernick and Black Lives Matter is one of the wealthiest companies in Portland? I wonder if ANTIFA has rioted near the multi billion dollar company’s headquarters? I wonder how quickly the police and national guard would be called if that happened? I wonder if Google, Facebook, or Netflix have any operations in the Portland area? Too many questions and not enough answers.

California Fires (Version 2020)

I just walked outside and smoke from the California fires has rolled in for yet another day. I feel bad for those who have been burned out of their homes and forced to evacuate. I would like to say that I feel bad for the firefighters but, quite honestly, I do not. They have signed up for this job and they are getting paid good money to do this. I am aware that in most cased they are getting overtime and in some cases these fire fighter’s budget to get the big overtime checks. Budgeting to receive overtime fighting fires to me is wrong because they are banking on the destructive fires that require them to be on the fire lines for many days of long hours.

Back to the fires and I have mentioned this before if not in this blog but when speaking with others in my circle of acquaintances and friends. When I was young California rarely had conflagrations that pumped smoke into the part of the world that I live. If they did the fires were withing 50-60 miles and it made sense. But now the fires have gotten so large that fires can be more than 200 miles away and smoke billows into the valley where I live. What is different I ask? Is it that California has mismanaged their wildlands? Has California mismanaged the way they fight fires? Is there too much money to be made fighting fires that they are allowed to grow larger and larger so more money is required to be spent fighting the fires? Is it attributable to a larger population and so therefore the odds are higher now for a human caused fire? Is there another reason or reasons that I am just not aware of? What I do know is that not only is there property being lost and destroyed but that people are losing lives which is unacceptable.

This round of fires was predominately sparked by dry lightning which does not happen every year. I can accept lightning sparked fires as a sort of natural cause and something that has happened periodically long before recorded history. What bothers me is the fires happen every year and that is not natural. Dry lightning is not something that sparks these conflagrations every year which leaves the rest of the conflagrations being man caused. So, forgive me if I am a bit weary when a dry lightning year rolls around. Is the new normal to just expect smoke filled valleys every year? Am I cynical for thinking the firefighting industry expects these mega fires every year? Once again, I must check my cynical thoughts but as I said I am fire weary in addition to all the other reasons to be weary and cynical about this year.

My condolences to President Trump on the loss of his brother. It sucks and there is no better why to state it in my opinion. May he rest in peace.

Moving on I must believe that China is a testing and proving ground for the use of technology and its use in the suppression of a people. I see what the FANGS are doing to the conservative movement and it is obvious that they have perfected this suppression and their explanations for why they are doing it. Straight from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Playbook and perfected in China at the behest of the CCP.

Another place of rioting has erupted in Wisconsin. I will be the first to say that I have no idea what happened but unlike the Wisconsin I am not going to rush to judgement. Of course it is too late now for the helpless businesses, churches, and innocent citizens as the Wisconsin governor, a Democrat, has already let his genie out of the bottle so to speak and has further fanned to lawless rioting that is occurring. I ask the citizens behind the lines in Democrat controlled states and cities when are you going to wake up and realize that when you continually vote these people in there will be no meaningful change? At least with President Trump he has done something meaningful. No thanks to the RINO’s and entrenched Washington bureaucracy.

The Republican Convention is starting and I wonder if theirs will be any more exciting than the Democratic Convention. Please do not get me wrong as I have never watched a convention in its entirety because I would rather poke my eyes out. However, I do realize that these can be important places for party leadership to meet, candidates to socialize with party leadership and a cohesive plan to campaign can be worked out. What I wonder with all this COVID bull is if this will be possible this year? I wonder what is going to happen to the Republican Party since it appears the Bushites are continuing to their true party. The Progressive Party which if anyone could see they belonged to all along. Will the Neocons continue their defection to the Democratic Party also? Who will stay behind and try to sabotage President Trump’s reelection campaign as I am sure some will do? Will there be enough left behind or will President Trump’s organization continue to have what it takes to keep the White House? I certainly hope so for the sake of free markets and the US Constitution.

Fifty three years ago the Summer of Love happened in San Francisco in which, apparently, the media fawned over the hippies and their “counterculture” movement. Now, fifty three years later with some of those same hippies and their acolytes fully ensconced in power it appears the counterculture movement has morphed. Now they organize and support the Summer of Hate counterculture movement.

I read a great sign the other day and it said, “Do not question authority, they do not know the answer either.”

I wonder how much money from international donors goes to finance domestic political campaigns.

To the General and Flag officers of the US military. Please do not allow the COVID vaccine to be tested on the members of the military. Remember the junior members of the military are in your charge.

I watched a shingles vaccine commercial the other day and all of the actors were elderly. Then it suddenly dawned upon me that the COVID response is a Baby Boom Generation response. I say this because the Baby Boom generation essentially is the generation in charge of government at the present time. Judging by history this is one of the most selfish generations ever in the United States and now, when faced with their own mortality, what do they do and support? It appears to me that a lot of the fear that is currently being peddled is being directed at the elderly and for good reason considering the elderly are most likely to be killed or experience long term effects from the virus. But shut down the whole nation and its economy? Like everything else the Baby Boomers will leave a wide wake behind them as they depart. Their mantra seems to be if I cannot have fun then you cannot have fun!

What is up with Justice Roberts siding with allowing the State of Nevada to keep churches closed? What happened to the separation of church and state and First Amendment Rights? I say church and state because the secular progressive dogma has infiltrated the state, evidently.

I heard a couple of weeks ago that Mayor DeBlasio of New York City is putting up COVID check points going into the city. It really does not bother be because why would I want to visit that s&*t hole?

I read something else somewhere that the Silicon Valley FANGS are scrubbing data from their websites. In particular, any data supporting conservative principals or counter to the progressive Marxist agenda. George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty Four’s dystopia is knocking on our door!

I wonder what would happen if I showed up in Portland with a wheelbarrow full of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto and started burning them? I wonder if the response would be the same as if I showed up with a wheelbarrow full of Holy Bibles?

In Rememberance (Originally Posted May 2015)

I drove into work it not being unlike any other day as of late.  Wake up, take care of the chickens, eat breakfast with my family, clean up, and get into my truck.  The main difference being that as soon as I sat down at my desk in the office newly provided to me upon my return from a sense of foreboding overcame me.  I had reached for and pushed the button to turn my computer on and I suddenly remembered what I had read less than twenty four hours earlier on this same machine resting on the desk in my own little private enclave.  In the time it took to blink my eyes my chest tightened, my stomach knotted, and a familiar cold hyper awareness of my surroundings took over my body and consciousness.  While the screen displayed its blinking hourglass I asked myself, “Do I really want to look at the news?  Do I want to read about the faraway place that I had left a mere five months earlier?  Wouldn’t it just be easier and potentially less painful to just ignore the news and go about my business as if nothing happened halfway around the world?”

Yesterday, like any other day, in the morning I had answered phone calls, made phone calls, answered email, wrote emails, and did the best I could to advance the three projects that I had been working on for my employer.  I would be telling a tale if I were to say it was anything but tedious for me considering they were not unlike many of the other previous projects that I had worked with only names and the desired outcomes being different.

I had taken to eating my lunch at my desk not only to save money since I brought lunch with me from home but to avoid the crowds, noise, and bustle at the eateries located around my office. This time also afforded me the opportunity to browse the internet keeping up with news and happening around the world. In particular, I always kept an eye out for any news from the place that I had only recently spent nearly eleven months of my life serving my country thus staying up to date.  Only, now when I read of the news from this far away land that I had originally read about nearly thirty five years earlier it was no longer an abstract place for me but a real one of sites, noises, smells, emotions, and memories.

I had seen many headlines from this country, and I had read these stories with detached emotion recalling some of the place names and even some of the places themselves.  Though for obvious reasons to me, many many specifics were left out of these stories and so I could only imagine the full details.  This day, however, came the news that three people were killed in an attack in Afghanistan’s the capitol city of Kabul.  Two of my fellow countrymen and the other from a country allied with my country had lost their lives.  Three killed in an attack perpetuated by a people who were willing to kill themselves in a manner calculated to instill terror.

In my office I was asking myself, “where did this attack take place and will I get enough information to satisfy the pressing curiosity rapidly blossoming inside of me?”.  Now in a sort of coordinated rapid fire movement between my eyes, fingers, and mind I was clicking open, reading, and digesting all the accounts that had been posted from the far away land’s capitol.  Yet again two of my countrymen, one military and one civilian, and one soldier from an allied country were attacked near my country’s embassy on the road to the airport.  Not only that but the attack was near a base used by my country.  I saw photos from a distance of smoke from the attack and immediately recognized the building to the left of the smoke.

Safely in my office in the United States my breathing slowed, my focus narrowed, and I was no longer in the office but rather I felt the rhythmic pulse a helicopter I was riding in.  A memory came back and the narrow valley I was flying in was giving way to the vast bowl ringed by mountains inhabited by the far away country’s capitol city.  Directly ahead of me flew the other helicopter in our party and the sprawl of the capitol stretched out ahead and to both sides.  A capitol city that essentially is an ancient and modern intersection with roads leading from it going to the north, south, east, and west.  In my peripheral vision the machine guns hung out of the helicopter I rode in and like quills they stuck out of the flying vessel in front of me. I could look to the north and see where we were going and the map of the city in my mind overlaid with the reality below.  Back in my office in the United States my mind grasped the enormity of the city and yet I could pinpoint the exact location of the attack on the map I had mentally recalled in my mind as I had not to recently driven through that section of the capitol so many times.

Once again, I was aware of my breathing and this time on the ground in Kabul at the exact location of the mark on the map that I had mere seconds earlier recalled.  I could see the intersection whose current incarnation consisted of a large roundabout with a hub in the middle and roads leading out of the hub like spokes on a wheel.  An intersection that invading armies from the north, east, and west had crossed countless times in their reach to conquests beyond this land.  An intersection that numerous merchants had crossed plying their wares and spices going back centuries if not millennia. An intersection that had been fought only recently for control of by warring tribes from within the country itself.  An intersection that continued to be an intersection of death.

A sculpture rises out of the hub in the center of the roundabout honoring a recent native general and the armored sports utility vehicle I am riding in has broken down.  In the corner of my eye I can see the building in the picture immediately to my left.  We are piling out of the vehicle and moving to the vehicle in front while a tow strap is connected from the lead vehicle to the broken down vehicle that I had been in.  In a matter of seconds, the ladies in burqas scurry past and I notice many eyes turning in our direction. Some of the eyes clothed in the countries traditional garb and some clothed in the countries national police uniform.  Some of them armed and some of them not armed. I am instantly aware of the location of my weapon and the exact location of the members of my traveling party as I get into the lead vehicle which is now physically tethered to the broken down vehicle. We pull away and all eyes in and next to the intersection are fixated upon us.  That and I see more of the local police starting to file out of their check post to the right of the intersection in front of my country’s embassy.

Just as suddenly as I became aware of the helicopters and remembered the vehicle breakdown, I heard the occupant of the office across the hall from me in a lively conversation on his telephone.  Back to my computer screen I asked, “Do I know any of the people killed in the attack?”  The facts read on my computer screen tell me that one of the dead was a civilian from my country and the two military killed were one from my country and the other from the allied country.  I thought to myself, “They could easily have been working from the same location that I had been working so few months before”.  I again ask myself, “Are there any names? “Then I have to remind myself, “No, it is still too soon after the attack for the names to be released.” At this point I could do nothing but say a silent prayer for the souls of those who had left us.

Back to this morning, my computer finishes booting and despite my work calling me the call of news from the faraway place is stronger.  In a matter of several clicks I opened the news and see the headlines that the identities of the service members have been released.  I hesitated for a moment, yet again, knowing that I would open the article.  It was as if bracing myself emotionally unlike any other time I had read about events from that place.  A double click later and I read the names and sticking out amongst the three was the name of a man who I had five months earlier bid a “good luck” to on my way out.  A man who I had smoked a cigar with and who had slept in the same building I had.  A man who I would see in passing at work and who was nearly the same height as me.  A man who left behind a wife of eighteen years and three children.  A wife who was now a widow and three children who would never see their dad again.

On this Memorial Day I say thank you to all who have given their lives and may all your soul’s rest in peace.

Random Musings 8.2.20

Once again it is time for some Twitter (for those with a litigious bent there is a trademark symbol just after the “r” in the previous word) like random musings from the mind of a quiet, unassuming, at least in my own opinion, person observing the ramblings, rumblings and revelations in the media. Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

If you read a post I made several weeks ago I mentioned that I wrote my state representative and state senator regarding my misgivings and a request that the legislative branch of my state government restrict what I believe to be a gross overreach of executive power with the COVID crisis. I mentioned that I would give them some time to get back understanding that they have no staff to my knowledge. Both these gentlemen are Republicans and as of today I have heard nothing back from them and it has now been more than a month.

Now, in the last week my states chapter of the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) canceled its annual fund raiser due to restrictions placed on it by my state’s governor. Of course, the chapter asked for ticket holders to consider donating our tickets which I did. However, I did send a note to the organization again expressing my discomfort with the overreach of the state’s executive asking if they or if the organization new of anyone who was challenging this overreach? I just sent this yesterday and to no surprise I have heard nothing. I will give them a couple of weeks as well to respond. However, maybe I will need to give them a couple of months if they are anything like the state legislators who represent the district in which I reside.

Violence continues to rage in many of the nation’s largest cities. I just watched Netflix’s Fear City which chronicled New York City during the 70’s and 80’s in which the Cosa Nostra reigned supreme and the FBI and Justice Department’s subsequent application of the RICO Statutes to significantly reign in The Mob’s power and influence. I could not help listening to and observing the scenes of violence, fear and influence of the mob in all facets of New York life and not draw a parallel to what is happening today in New York and many of the nation’s other large cities. The parallels being the cities having democratically run administrations, the police being hamstrung by the city administrations, and violence a daily if not hourly occurrence to name a few. On top of that small few shadowy individuals seem to organize and pull the strings of much of the cities industries, government, and institutions. The FBI was able to use the RICO Statutes to bring this thugs and criminals down. A difference this time is I wonder how high the RICO Statutes could be exercised in the current nationwide crises? I wonder if the lawlessness and violence could be organized at high levels in the government and corporate leadership? Could this be applied even into the billionaire’s club in tech and hedge fund management?

Speaking of hedge fund managers and tech billionaires. I shake my head that the individuals who made billions in the free markets of the west actively support the progressives in the United States. Like the Robber Barons of the late nineteenth century they seem to want to use the government to change the rules. They seem to want a somewhat if not outright fascistic government that they control to change the rules in order to squash and suppress any competition that could rise up against them. My opinion is these leaders are really nothing more than petty dictators who believe in arbitrarily changing the rules of governance in order to support their dominance in their industries of dominance. I believe they are selfish, self-serving despots intent on doing whatever it takes to quash and keep us serfs in line.

I would hope that Senator Lee and others in Congress would take a good hard look at the FANGS. I ask why they are getting special considerations when the FANGS really are abusing the privilege. They really are not supportive of nor willing to compete in the free and open marketplaces of products and ideas. Equal application of the law please. Interesting that Shepard Smith is now working for CNBC overtly. I laugh because I remember his outright indignation and surprise when President Trump won the 2016 election. At least now he is where he should be which is in a place full of progressive propagandists. I wonder how long it will take before Chris Wallace joins him?
