Random Musings on Current Events 2.13.2026

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants, raves and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants, revelations and gratitude’s in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.

I am sitting down this morning to type my ramblings, rumblings, rants, revelations and gratitude’s this morning and seem to be drawing a blank. Throughout the course of the week I have listened to so much, read quite a bit and even had a couple of conversations and do you think that I can remember what I thought about typing this morning? Well, if you guessed not a thing then you guessed correctly. So, I believe I will start with what I am grateful for this February morning the day before St. Valentines Day.

First, I am grateful for the founding fathers of the United States of America and, in particular, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and others of their group who could have set the United States of America down the path of a European monarchy but did not. Instead George Washington chose to live by the Constitution as best he could and Alexander Hamilton charted a course that expanded the new nation’s economy and actually paid of the Revolutionary War debt. George Washington even raised an army of sorts to stamp down the nascent rebellion fomented by Thomas Jefferson and his allies in an effort to preserve the Constitution and, therefore, the Union. I am grateful that I live in the country founded on these principles despite the effort of so many to subvert the ideals and the Constitution itself from within.

Speaking of which I am hearing all kinds of nonsense about President Trump making unconstitutional executive orders and etc. Perhaps he is but I have to say it is refreshing to see a true executive in the position of Chief Executive wield the power granted to him as a Chief Executive could and would. Now, it is up to the other two branches of government to step up to the plate and balance President Trump’s use of executive authority as the founders intended our government to work. That being said I would hope the judiciary does what the original intent was and that is to weigh the merits of the case against the Constitution and not try to legislate from the bench. The legislative branch, well, what can be said about that group of individuals that most often seem more interested in pandering to special interests and getting reelected than actually being law makers. When members of the legislative branch let special interests write legislation there is a big problem. Personally, I think it is time to resurrect the idea of term limits for Congress in order to avoid or at least limit the influence of special interests.

Speaking of a complete shirking and relinquishing of authority by Congress, I am learning of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 in which Congress gave away the power given to it by the Constitution and, quite honestly, I am not too thrilled with what I am learning. I think one of the biggest fallacies that I am coming to grips with is the so called independence of the Federal Reserve that I have been told about my whole life. Sure, the Federal Reserve is independent of Congress and the Executive but is it really independent? No, it is not independent of the super huge banks that underpin the Federal Reserve Bank and that are essentially its shareholders. It does not take a mental giant to see how the Federal Reserve and its policies have not been to support the US middle class, industrial class or any other class but the financial class over the decades and it is only getting worse. Perhaps it is time for Congress and or the Executive via the Department of Treasury to reel back some of the Constitutional powers into the hands specifically spelled out in the Constitution.

I have been watching the Olympics a little bit and have to say a certain European arrogance has taken over what was once a uniquely American sport. The sport of snowboarding is the sport I speak of and perhaps even short track speed skating. In particular, I watched the snowboard slalom finals yesterday and one of the Americans was disqualified despite what appeared to be incidental contact. This after what appeared to be groups of Europeans working in concert to keep him and others in other races out of the lead. Quite honestly, I would say Mr. Vedder, at least on the television, kept his composure, did not cuss, and just called it insane, which is good but I will say that I did a bit of cussing for him in the privacy of my own home. My question is how many of the judges are American now for snowboarding?

I just learned that the House has cleared the SAVE Act and it now moves to the Senate. Let’s us all hope and pray that the Senate Republicans can get out of their own ways to pass this bill. If it does not pass, it will be even clearer who of the Republicans are on the take and corrupted by the current voting process. Quite frankly I would like to see the act include banning mail in ballots but I suppose one cannot get too greedy at this moment. Oh, I would have added Democrats to the above sentences but I believe it is implicitly assumed that they are already on the take as the democrat party benefits most from the current voting system.

I have to throw a thought out there to see if it provokes any discussion. Has anyone else noticed that it is the same political party, Democratic Party, that fomented and got the Civil War going on in the 1800’s that is pushing for civil war again in the country? This is the party of slavery, civil war, now mass corruption and money laundering, and leftists. Geez, one would have to think that maybe they really do not support the Constitution.

I will close out my ramblings and rants with another moment of gratitude. I am grateful that my European ancestors left Europe to seek out, search, and build greater opportunities and freedoms that they never would have been afforded in their home lands. I am grateful that I have inherited the spark of industry, perseverance and courage that has been rewarded in the United States and that would never have been rewarded in Europe. Now, I can pray that we as Americans can wake up and quit sending our treasure our ideas and inventions to a class of freeloading parasites that seem to have remained in Europe and that will never be satisfied with what they have.

I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.

Wow! What a difference five days makes! The Middle East and Persia are relatively peaceful once again and the Supreme Court has issued a major ruling in which Justice Barrett has eloquently pointed out that an Imperial Judicial is no better than an Imperial Executive. Amen to that I say.

I had to laugh yesterday listening to Senator Graham be interviewed and his vehement denial that he was about using US military troops to affect regime change in Iran. It appears that someone got to him and pointed out the error of his ways. Who knows? Regardless, I am glad that he said what he said and it appears that is the prevailing attitude in Washington D.C. for the time being knowing it all could change next week.

It seems I was not too far off in one of my previous rants about California Governor Newsom eating at the French Laundry when the Los Angeles riots kicked off. Though he was not eating at the French Laundry he was at another event in Napa County attending a fundraiser or something of the sort. It is such a shame that the media in California is so corrupted and leftist that the majority of Californians will never hear a peep about that.

Moving even further to the left I am surprised at the surprise that a Democrat Socialist has won the New York City primary for the Democratic Party. Zohran Mamdani is the fruit of the tree that was planted several generations ago in New York City when the Frankist’s immigrated to the US from pre War Nazi Germany. What was once one of the greatest cities of free markets in the world has slowly been corrupted by uneducated immigrants, some of my ancestors included, and is now on the brink of total collapse. The true drivers of freedom and western values are either long gone, recently departed and, if not already gone, probably seriously considering their options. Quite honestly, at this moment, there really is no one to blame but those who stood by and stand by and let it happen. Those who were so comfortable that they did not stand up to the corruption, however dangerous it was to stand up. Those who stood by while those few who did stand up were overcome and drowned out by the corruption.

Speaking of the NYC primary I find it ironic that one of the largest blocks of voters who voted for the Marxist are college educated white women. I have to question why this block of people are so enamored with big government and big brother taking care of them? Why are they not finding mates that can take care of them and raise families together? Why are they more interested in all that is unholy rather than what is life supporting? If the argument is made that the government will support life, I would ask each and every one of them, what basis are they saying that the government will support life?

It appears that President Trump was able to obtain commitments from NATO to fund NATO. This is a good thing and I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

I learned recently that the Department of Health and Human Service’s Immunization Injury Compensation Plan has only paid for one wrongful death and a few handfuls of claims for injuries. On top of that there is a cap on wrongful death claims of $250,000 despite their website saying the maximum for a claim is $400,000. This is a system that has been in place for decades and listening to the number of claims actually having been paid my trust in this system to look out for me and my loved ones is collapsing. This is just more evidence, to me that the Pharmaceutical Industry has coopted the government agencies that purport to safeguard the general population from the Pharmaceutical  giants and that they are, in essence, allowing the makers and purveyors of vaccines to use the general public as lab rats and a guaranteed revenue stream. What a business model, I tell you.

The Federal Reserve is not lowering rates which does not bother me in the least. Sure, I have some credit card debt, albeit not too much, and my rates will remain higher but who cares. I am becoming aware of the fact that more is going on than what meets the eyes and, if it is true, I am going to agree with the Federal Reserve’s moves, at least for now. Not that they are listening to me one bit but it is my fault that I have the debt and so, therefore, I know that I must deal with the consequences and in the long run what the Federal Reserve is doing could be for the best.

There are some other things that I could ramble, rant, and or rave about but, for now, I will wrap this regular edition of Random Musing up.

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.

I do not know why but out of all the headlines that caught my attention around President Trump’s tariffs is titled “Nike Stock Plunges as Low-Wage Factories in China, Vietnam, Indonesia Face Trump’s Tariffs” by Bretibart’s John Binder. Certainly I am not sure Mr. Binder’s sources but reading the article I have to say that I was shocked at the magnitude of Nike, Adidas, and Puma supply that exists in China and to a lesser extent in Vietnam and Cambodia. According to the article Nike alone has 117 factories in China employing nearly 108,000 and 130 factories in Vietnam employing 460,000. I understand why Nike is using these countries considering the average yearly salary in China is $10,000 and in Vietnam it is $9,500 vice $67,000 in the United States for comparable workers. Yes, it makes good business sense but does it really?

I ask,  “Does it really make good business sense?” for the reason that what are the unintended consequences of this “business decision”? Sure it helps the Nike stockholder but at what expense? We all know Portland, Oregon, the home of Nike, is a leftist breeding ground where the rule of law no longer exists. In fact, it seems more and more like a third world nation in which the few have all the money and power while the rest of the pols slip closer to poverty. This is a city that saw its own leaders allow leftists mobs attack government buildings for days during the summer of 2020 love. A city that, in fact, allowed the leftist media to completely blow out of proportion a small minority’s actions in order to further its leftist agenda. I have to wonder if some of this leftist infection did not ride in on the Nike management that worked in China, Vietnam and the US? Who knows has Nike and other companies been infected by CCP covert agents whose sole purpose is the destruction of the United States and what it once stood for? I know a bit hyperbolic but certainly within the realm of possibility.

Then I had to ponder if the average wage in these Asian countries is 1/6th to 1/7th of what American workers make is it any wonder why the NBA is in reality now the Nike Basketball Association considering the shear amount of profit Nike and others must be making. It also makes sense why  NBA stars can say nothing negative about totalitarian communist countries while the United States burns, it is bad for business. They really do not fool me and I guess I will just have to continue my own boycott of the NBA, Nike, Adidas, and Puma which does not leave me too many options.

So to sort of sum up what I have been thinking I would say that it would be easy to corrupt many Americans with cheap bling much as the Europeans did when offering beads etc. to the native Americans during the European conquest of North America. Only this time the CCP could easily be using companies like Nike, who are making obscene profits using cheap almost slave like labor, to ride into American culture like a virus whose intent is to corrupt, bankrupt, and convert its host. Quite honestly, I really do not care one whit how much of a hit Nike and others like it take as a result of President Trump’s tariffs. 

I have been hearing about and listening to what I thought was a conspiracy for a long time and this has to do with geo engineering and, in particular, cloud seeding using chem trails. I have heard much about this overtime, going back decades and really did not pay too much attention to this story thinking no way it could be true on a grand scale. However, recently as more information is coming to light and it seems the light is dimming a bit in my own part of the world I am starting to wonder if there is some truth to this? It seems that Robert F Kennedy Jr. even joined a leading expert on this practice on a pod cast recently which lends further credence to chem trailing is an actual operation that has been undertaken for quite a while. Just another thing that the forces of evil on this planet are doing to us.

Oh my Liz Cheney is pining for a new conservative party in the Unites States. More like a re-branding of the Neo Con party for elites. After all Dick and Liz have endorsed Kamala Harris. Geez, whose side are they on?

Speaking of Neocons it seems Senator Graham is calling out and emphasizing the threat to Donald Trump from the Iranians as anti-Iranian rhetoric is ramping up in the media and as Israel has turned it eye north and is attacking the Iranian backed Hezbollah in Lebanon. This is frightening to me because I can easily see the potential for something to happen in the US and Iran be blamed for it in order to draw the US into overt war against Iran. In the meantime I will pray that if there are plans of the Neo Cons and Deep State folks to do something nefarious that it is quashed before it manifests. Too many coincidences are currently lining up to make me feel at ease.

Kamala Harris is skipping the Al Harris dinner and is the first candidate in decades to skip this dinner. Normally I would not give a whit about this because it is in New York City and as far as I am concerned New York City brands themselves as the be all to end all and I will admit there has been reason for this, however, New York may as well be a foreign country to me. However, Kamala Harris skipping out on this is telling. She either does not have the capacity for extemporaneous conversation, is vehemently anti-Christian and Catholic, or all of the above plus more. My guess is that her handlers are terrified of what she might do. Who knows?

Interesting that the union that IRS workers belong to has endorsed Kamala Harris. Interesting that Barrack Obama was famous for organizing the Service Employees Union that represents many government employees. Interesting the union such as the Teamsters who organize workers in the private sector will not endorse Kamala Harris. Yet another pieces of evidence that big government supports Barack, oops, Kamala Harris.

I found it interesting that French President Macron has shuffled his cabinet to include many so called center right and conservative members but this includes no one from Marine LePen’s party. Interesting that it appears to be a maneuver to co-opt LePen’s movement at some level. I wonder if the gambit will pay off for Mr. Macron?

So, as if they have nothing else to worry about, Sir Keir Starmer’s government is cracking down on pubs in the UK at the same time he is reducing pensioner’s winter fuel allotments. Doesn’t this seem reminiscent of the COVID lock downs in which people could not publicly gather. What is Sir Keir concerned about? Is he afraid that as his constituents are ripping darts and slamming beers, they might actually talk bad about his government and himself? Perhaps the Islamic element in the UK’s government have finally gained enough power to reduce a mainstay of English society in which the English socialize and that they frown upon because it is against Sharia Law to partake in? Whatever the reason, and I am not much of a drinker, the reason cited, public health, seems like a bunch of gas lighting on the surface to me.

So, New York City’s Mayor Eric Adams is under indictment ostensibly for accepting an upgrade to first class on a flight by interests of Turkey about a year after he called out how the resettling of illegal immigrants was taxing the city of New York’s resources. This indictment coming from the same DOJ that has indicted Donald Trump. Hmm, not that Eric Adams is a saint but something sure is fishy with this. I guess it does not pay to call out the Harris/Biden administration in public, even if one is a liberal Democrat.

I sure wish Paul Pelosi would start a newsletter for us less connected investors. His track record of investing success is phenomenal and I sure would pay a little to make the kind of investing moves that he does. Can you believe his latest stroke of genius selling his Visa stock the week before the DOJ filed an antitrust lawsuit against Visa? He truly is the man when it comes to investing.

I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format.

Yet another assassination attempt on Donald Trump? What? This time while he was playing golf and certainly not a public event. You have got to be kidding me? Two attempts in about two months and the common denominator now seems to be the Secret Service more and more. In Pennsylvania it has become more and more evident the Secret Service leadership did not assign the proper team to protect a man who not only is a Presidential candidate but evidently had an increased threat profile from Iranian sources. Now, how is it that a shooter was able to target the former President without some for knowledge that Donald Trump would be playing golf when he was and where he was playing? It is becoming more and more evident that there needs to be more of a shake up in the highest levels of the Secret Service starting with the current head, yet again.

Oh by the way, I have absolutely no faith that the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who is in charge of the current investigation, will do anything but cover up the truth. Sorry Attorney General Garland your speech this last week did nothing to assuage my concerns with regards to the politicization of the Department of Justice and the FBI. To me the speech was nothing but another attempt to gaslight the average everyday American.

So, Boeing is experience a strike and the workers are asking for more pay. Apparently, there has not been a new contract in many many years and all the while Boeing management has been running the company into the ground. I am not sure if the rot is in the Board of Directors or the CEO’s, one of which recently, parted ways with the company. On top of that the new CEO has gotten promises of some obscene amounts of bonuses that are completely unrelated to his performance. Quite honestly, I cannot blame the rank and file for striking because it appears their wages have not kept up with inflation. The trouble is due to mismanagement and what appears to be gross fleecing of the company there is not a whole lot to give the workers. I think, if I were the workers, I would take what management is offering but in addition I would demand ownership of the company because the current ownership is obviously failing what was once a mighty and prestigious company.

So, Taylor Swift, Pfizer’s poster girl has come out endorsing Kamala Harris for President. All this tells me is Pfizer does not want President Trump elected which, to me, is in Donald Trump’s favor. Thank you, Ms. Swift, for enlightening me on this matter.

I watched part of the Presidential debate the week before last and I say part, because I could not stomach it after Donald Trump was interrupted and “fact checked” the third of fourth time. Not only that I could no longer watch Kamala Harris’ feigned smile and condescending look in the split screen. I agree that Donald Trump could have done better but did he really need to? There is no substance or integrity behind Kamala Harris and I think the American public, at large, is waking up to this fact. I for one am not better off now than I was 3 and half years ago. I, like President Trump, have to ask why she has done nothing the last 3 ½ years she has been in office.

Speaking of do nothing hires in the Joe Biden administration it seems that Pete Buttigieg our Secretary of Transportation is going after the regulation of airline mileage points. What? Airline mileage points? What about what is arguably the most toxic release of chemicals this country has ever seen in Pennsylvania? What about the nations crumbling infrastructure and the rest of the infrastructure bill that so far has seen $7.5 billion spent to install 7 vehicle charging stations? My gut tells me that Secretary is yet another political appointment of what essentially amounts to a vacant suit to disguise giant money laundering schemes to pay off political cronies on the taxpayer’s back.

I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format.

Does anyone else wonder why the Communist News Network (CNN) is releasing its exclusive challenging the Pentagon’s narrative of the homicide bomber attack on August 26, 2021, at Kabul’s International Airport? I have written how it was a complete and utter failure of American US military leadership and my questioning of how come not a single senior officer, Secretary of Defense or President Biden have been held to account for this unnecessary tragedy. Now, we learn as matter of fact that the US military changed and left out a full accounting of events on that day. Personally I understand that US Marines may have fired into the crowd as Islamic terrorists were well known for their complex attacks in which a homicide bomber would blow himself up and then as a follow up other terrorists would shoot others in the confusion. So what, fog of war. I still see no one asking for an accounting from or for General McKenzie, his subordinate commanders, Secretary of Defense Austin or President Biden. I still have no faith or confidence, and even less so now, in any of these folk’s leadership.

The sham trial of Donald Trump continues on and, no, I am not following it day to day because I do not have time for this. I am too busy deleting and reporting as spam all of the spam texts and emails from political campaigns asking for my money.

The University of Southern California has canceled its main commencement ceremony due to “ongoing campus protest/unrest”. As if like clockwork The Summer of Love Redux seems to be heating up again exactly four years later. What a coincidence, a presidential election year in which Donald Trump is polling better than Joe Biden. I wonder why USC does not request assistance from local law enforcement to arrest those who are breaking the law like at the University of Texas, Austin did? Perhaps, the USC administrators are afraid it’s leftist faculty will protest much as UT Austin’s leftist faculty did, perhaps the USC administrators are leftists themselves, or maybe they just plain and simply have no backbone to support and defend the rule of law. Funny how USC is a private University as is Columbia, George Washington University, and NYU. Glad that I am not a parent paying tuition to any of these so called institutions of higher learning.

I certainly hope Merrick Garland is charged with contempt of Congress. Will it mean much? Who knows.

I logged onto Facebook for the first time in months yesterday and was inundated with adds featuring young scantily clad women, hopefully not girls, asking to be my friend, chat and blah blah blah with very few posts from my contacts. Evidently these are “AI” generated adds. What a ruthless, greedy, unscrupulous no good group of people at Facebook.

Speaking of election year shenanigans it seems that inflation actually increased based on reports released in the last week. It will be interesting to see what side of the political aisle, if any, the bankers are on in the coming weeks and months. Will the Federal Reserve change their targets to justify lowering interest rates, maintain current interest rates or increase rates which any sane person would do with no political skin in the game. One thing for certain the bankers have no interest in my lifestyle or for that matter whether I live or die. They are only concerned with maintaining their lifestyles and power on the backs of the majority of people.

Random Musings on Current Events 3.29.24

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format.

Life has gotten away from me, yet again, the past several weeks and I am finally getting down to do some ramblings, rumblings, and rants.

First off, my condolences and prayers go out to victims, victims’ families and citizens of Moscow, Russia in the aftermath of the tragic “terrorist” attack this past week. No matter who was responsible I think we can all agree that the individuals responsible are followers of those beings who espouse death over life.

The Dali running into the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore, the first city destroyed by the D’Alessandro’s, has certainly caught my attention in the last week. Of course the finger pointing and narrative control regarding the cause and responsibility is spinning up and who knows if we will ever really know what caused the ship to run into the bridge. What I can say for certain is a major east coast harbor is going to be shut down for a long time and even longer a major freeway bypass of Baltimore will be shut down for a long time. Like COVID its impacts to the economy will reverberate for years to come. And like COVID we have inept and corrupt politically appointed individuals in charge of the government side of this, for example Transportation Secretary Buttigieg.

I would like to know and perhaps I should investigate if there is any way to report or block the robo texts that I am receiving from political candidates? A few years ago I donated to a candidate once and now I receive more robo texts than I do actual texts from people I know. Quite frankly it is irritating and gives me further reason to not trust the political machine operating in this country.

It seems that Donald Trump has not lost one whit of momentum in his quest to secure yet another nomination for the Republican part in his quest for another term as President. I found it interesting that I was still getting robo texts from Niky Haley before Super Tuesday and could not help but wonder what her or her handler’s agenda really was? Obviously, she is not representing my interests but rather a group of very wealthy individuals.

I am finding it interesting to read U.S. Grant’s first State of the Union Address and how much Sate of the Union addresses have devolved into grandstanding without stating any pertinent facts. Now a days it all seems to be about getting reelected. Joe Biden’s most recent State of Union was a far cry from those of yore and a complete waste of energy, breath, and time, no doubt.

I really find it ironic that Joe Biden and others in the uni-party are commenting that Donald Trump is losing his mental faculties? Yeah, right, whatever. They are back to projecting onto others whatever they are guilty of.

If anyone who reads my posts thinks that I am a fan of Donald Trump and his family please guess again. I really am not considering how readily President Trump pushed Operation Warp Speed and cow towed to the establishment during his first term. For now I will chalk it up to a bit of political naivete or perhaps fear that the CIA and other intelligence agencies would JFK him. Trouble is I really do not know. What I do know is that the stage was set for O’Biden and international interests to destroy the nation’s economy and freedoms and, subsequently, create a lost generation in our country in the name of a crisis. A crisis that eerily mimicked a bad flu season. 

My internet has been quite sporadic and not too robust this last week or so. There are rumblings of impending attacks on the US infrastructure to include the internet. Sometimes I cannot help but wonder if the groundwork is being prepared for such an attack. This especially considering how much Donald Trump is leading in the polls and considering what the world political elites did to the world the last time he was in the lead.

Senator Mitch McConnell has announced that is going to retire in November. Interesting that it comes on the heels of a new book being released that details the Chinese Communist influence in United States politics. I have not heard that the senator’s name is included in the book and if this is the case I cannot help but wonder if a deal was struck to keep his name out of the book? Or perhaps, his name is mentioned in the book and the senator is preempting his moves prior to its release? Whatever, it certainly did not stop him, his cronies, and the other uni party senators and representatives from passing the sham $1.2 billion dollar budget, did it? What a joke.

Lastly, I wish all well in the celebration of Christ’s resurrection this weekend.

Random Musings on Current Events 11.24.2023

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format.

Does anyone else feel that there is an unseen or rather unknown power or powers that are conspiring and working together to keep them from thriving? This invisible force will allow one just enough to survive but will do all in its or their power to ever keep one from going to the next level, so to speak.

Personally, I have had several instances in which I have tried to “break out” of my station only to see the “rules” change. One particular instance, that comes to mind, is in the 2000’s when I started to invest in real estate, working hard to minimize debt, then watching the market crash in the late 2000’s, watch some financial institutions fail as a result, then thinking that a lot of distressed properties would come onto the market and that I might be able to pick up a couple of these properties up as investments. Instead, many of the properties that were foreclosed upon sat vacant for years as their condition’s deteriorated. When they finally did come on the market the local real estate market had bottomed and the same foreclosed properties came up for sale one or two at a time and they were being sold through large national real estate companies that previously had no local representation. It gradually became obvious to me that the too big to fail finance houses and its surrogates in Washington D.C. were firmly in control and that the free market no longer existed, at least in Real Estate. That I lived in a quasi-fascist reality in which politically connected interests were allowed to survive in this once great nation. In other words, winners and losers are not determined by the marketplace but rather by political interests and for political reasons.

Lately, I have been thinking about how rapidly the giants of Silicon Valley rose squashing their competition and subsequently how they have colluded with government interests. Now this has been proven that the Silicon Valley “media” giants colluded with entrenched government interests to see that President Trump did not retain the office of President. It is my opinion they did not elect Joe Biden but rather they worked to ensure President Trump did not retain the office and it really is sad and, quite frankly, criminal. Yet again, hidden interests in the corridors of national power are picking winners and losers to maintain their power, plain and simple. Is Donald Trump a perfect man? No, absolutely not, but the alternative is Joe Biden and he is the best they can offer me as a naturally born man of the united states of America? Give me a break, the man and those around him are overtly supporting a communist dictator, laundered money through Afghanistan, the Ukraine, and now apparently Israel is more important than my own country? It is also my opinion that Facebook, Google, and Amazon received dark money from three letter agencies in the United States through cut outs or however these agencies fund their malfeasance and treason.

Back to these giant behemoths of Silicon Valley and the amount of power they wield; it is my opinion that there is no way these giants became as large as they have without the help of three letter government agencies. All one has to do is look at the type of power they wield and how it benefits tyrants. These giants essentially have monopolies in the gathering of information on each and every individual who uses the internet for whatever they use the internet for and I have no doubt government agencies have back doors to this data. Everything from internet searches, views, purchases and whatever else are logged and saved in giant data bases throughout the country and world and more continue to be built. This data is then saved to be mined for whatever reason whether nefarious or benign, if needed, in the future. These companies can then mine the data to tailor and target individuals for marketing reasons or more nefariously in the case of three letter agencies to run psychological operations against us plebeians to ensure the major wielders of power maintain their power. Am I supposed to believe these are the good guys? Am I to believe that they care a wit about my welfare and that of my family and friends? In fact, and I have said this before, at what point do these so called human beings become a clear and present threat to the safety and wellbeing of me and my loved ones?

A car has blown up at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing between Canada and the United States near Niagara Falls on the New York side. Geez, the day before Thanksgiving on one of, if not the largest, days in which the number of people are traveling in the united States. I am so comforted knowing the FBI is on the scene and now know that I will never know the true story of what happened as the cover up masters have taken over the crime scene.

Speaking of another incident on the day before Thanksgiving yet another train has derailed, this time in Kentucky, and at least two of the fifteen cars that derailed were carrying some form of sulfur. My prayers go out to the people living near the derailment. I am sure Pete Buttigieg will take some time to visit the site, not.

Populist leaders have won elections in Argentina and the Netherlands this week and the left controlled media is apoplectic. I can only pray that the leftists will accept the election results and become a peaceful opposition as the right has been for the most part recently. However, I do not hold high hopes for this considering all that was done in the country that was once the beacon of light for freedom loving people to prevent it’s President from being reelected.

Is it a coincidence that the week after Dictator Xi visited San Francisco and met with Joe Biden that a mysterious lung infection is spreading in China? Eerily similar to another time a few years back. Call me cynical but I must wonder if the ruling elites have decided to pull out the play book that was so successful late 2020 and 2021?

Riots on the streets of Dublin after a knife wielding man, apparently Algerian, stabbed two adults and three children. Riots in which the rioters destroyed some businesses, police cars, and a bus. Ostensibly, these rioters were rioting against foreigners who have been settled in Ireland but have been unwilling to acclimatize to Irish culture, not unlike most other places in Europe. What bothers me about this is the rioters are being branded as extreme right wingers and why would extremists on the right who are against foreigner’s attack businesses and symbols of law and order? I understand Ireland is essentially a socialist country, after all the IRA of old was essentially a Marxist organization. It almost seems, like the U.S. during the summer of love of 2020, the riots were preplanned and too well organized to not be well planned and organized.

Geez, for wanting to pull back and not let myself get wrapped up in current events I sure have paid attention to a few this past week.

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format.

I watched the movie “The Legend of Bagger Vance” the other night and one of the main characters, played by Matt Damon, Captain Junah, is a man haunted by his past service in World War I in which many men who served under him were killed in action. Bagger Vance, played by Will Smith, is an angel sent to help steer Junah straight and help him get through his PTSD or Shell Shock or whatever they called it after WWI. There is one scene that sticks with me and that is when Bagger tells Junah to see the course. Essentially, he is telling him to see it with his heart. See his path and what he, Junah, needs to see to play his shot. Not anyone else’s shot but his shot.

Speaking of Bagger Vance and the fact the movie takes place in the United States’ south, I happened to listen to “Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd and the lyrics are:

There is, to me, something about this song that sums up what I have been rolling around in my mind as I observe the ramblings, rumblings and rants of the world.

The Conservative Constitutionalist needs to slow down, pull in, and remember what is really important and it certainly is not what is happening half a world away in the Middle East, Ukraine, and in China. The Conservative Constitutionalist needs to play his game and not anyone else’s game. Sure, events there can impact what is happening to me eventually and probably will and, in fact have, but for now I have found myself, along with many others, getting worked up about these events for no reason. Every time I click a link, I am supporting some large media giant sell advertisement or every time I turn on a news broadcast, I am supporting yet another media giant and helping them to sell advertising.

I believe what I am trying to say is that I have, unintentionally been supporting the rich elitists and their lifestyles at the expense of my lifestyle and letting myself be swayed to live in their world, at their pace, and to ignore what is right in front of me. It is Thanksgiving week now and I was reminded this past weekend that this is really a time of Thanksgiving unique to the American experience. It is a time to reflect on this country’s native American heritage and its melding with the early English settlers and how the early Native American’s taught and saved the early English settlers from starvation and how to live in this new world. What I was reminded of is that I am an American first and foremost. I am not a European, an Asian, a Middle Easterner, or anyone else but an American, end of story. Also, that I need to focus on what is right in front of me and not what is happening half a world away.

I had the opportunity to spend some time in Southern New Mexico last week and it was a bit depressing. The town that I was staying in is depressed and there is no way around it. Two restaurants that I had eaten in the past were shut down for good, no doubt, victims of the COVID lock downs. The only jobs to be had were servicing the travelers along the interstate, a Dollar General and government jobs. Certainly, none of these jobs are jobs in which wealth is being created for this community. Instead, one of them, the government jobs, are nothing more than redistributing wealth by taking from wealth producers in order to support the recipients.

Oh yes, it was disgusting to see how they were able to clean up and keep the riff raff away in San Francisco for the visit of Xi, the Chinese dictator, while businesses flee the corrupt, decadent, third world bung hole of California. Yes, I said bung because I dare not write what I really want to call it. California politicians and remaining business leaders really are a clear and present danger to the stability of the United States. I will not even mention the sock puppet in chief of the United States who capitulated to the dictator. In fact, it appears they are in Xi’s employee which could be considered an act of treason if one were to pursue that line of thinking.

Random Musings on Current Events 10/21/2023

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format.

As if I need another reason not to support the Republican Party in the United States was needed over twenty Republican members of Congress held out on the nomination of Jim Jordan to be the Speaker of the House. It is obvious that the Republican Party is a house divided which really is in the united states of America’s favor, quite honestly, in my opinion. What is frightening is how unified the Democrat Communist Party of America is and how they have been able to co-opt elements of the Republican Party. If their aim is chaos and turmoil they are succeeding and they would make Leon Trotsky a happy man if, indeed, he was ever capable of being happy.

Like the Nazi regime in the Ukraine needs any more money it will be getting around 60% of the money in the Israel/Ukraine aid bill proposed by the neocons. Once again, all I can think is that there is a pending election and the international socialists need more money to fund their election rigging in the United States and elsewhere. It really must be important to allow many hundreds to be killed in Israel and to take the lid off Joe Biden’s basement to allow him or his avatar to go to Israel and Jordan.

I am breathing smoke, yet again, from fires in California only this time it is from “managed” burns to ostensibly remove undergrowth from forest floors. Once again, I am having to breath polluted air from one of the most corrupted and mismanaged states in the union. Once again, I must ask myself why were these forests not managed properly in the last twenty to thirty to fifty years so these “managed” burns would not be necessary in the aftermath of some of the worst fires in recorded history? Would it not make more sense to log and manage these forests and therefore provide productive jobs to thousands of men and women instead of polluting the air I breath yet again? Not only that, the wood logged could then be put to more productive use instead of importing lumber from foreign sources.

Speaking of lumber and the trees from which lumber comes from, the deciduous trees are well into their change of color and it is quite beautiful in my part of the world despite the smell and light haze from the smoke. The mornings are very cool, the afternoons mild and I can only imagine the first storm of the year will be here soon. I can only pray that the only storms looming on the horizon are only the storms of winter and not of man and the demons that possess men.
