Random Musings 7.6.20

Once again it is time for some Twitter (for those with a litigious bent there is a trademark symbol just after the “r” in the previous word) like random musings from the mind of a quiet, unassuming, at least in my own opinion, person observing the ramblings, rumblings and revelations in the media. Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

I do not have a lot to write about today as I have spent most of the time that I allot to writing is that I wrote letters to my State Senator and State Assemblyman. The reason that I write them is first to ask that taxes not be raised to make of for revenue shortfalls because of the governor’s COVID 19 inspired shutdowns. A good deal of the economy was forced to shut down and yet the state government has not had to shutdown one day. In fact, the state employee’s union is filing suit against the governor because he is proposing a one day a month furlough. Secondly, I have asked that mail in ballots be not allowed in the upcoming general election and that in the future the governor be limited to no more than thirty days of an emergency declaration without approval of the state legislature. It is time to reign in the executive power in this instance in my own humble opinion.

I listened to NPR (National Left Wing Socialist Radio) this morning for some perspective. In the segment that I listened to their White House Correspondent had nothing nice to say about the President. She claimed that the President’s speech on the fourth of July was meant to further increase the division in our country and no hints of unifying existed in the speech. Of course, this was through her nasal voice and in the NPR cadence used by all of their correspondents. Um, last time I checked the left are the least inclusive group in the country right now as exemplified by their willingness to shout down anyone who disagrees with them, see to it anyone who disagrees with their positions is fired, and support those who would “burn the system down”. Give me a break.

I did watch a dvr’ed interview by Mark Levin of Bob Woodson this morning and I have to say Mr. Woodson is a very articulate and intelligent man. So much so that I am going to have to read some more of what the Woodson Center and 1176 Unites has to say. Thank you Mr. Levin for the interview.

And the murdering and mayhem continue in the Democratic Party run big cities such as New York, Chicago and Atlanta. Gun violence in all of these cities with some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation being the prime culprit even takes the lives of children. Does there need to be any other reason not to vote Democrat? Why is this message not reaching more of the country? Perhaps, it is because we outside the large cities already know this? How can we, the sane people of the country, retake our cities?
