A Thanksgiving Proclamation

The following has been reprinted without the permission of anyone, however, the source of this proclamation is A Compilation of the Messages and Papers of the Presidents 1789-1908, by James D. A National Thanksgiving

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and

Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me “to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them and opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness;”

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally, to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

Random Musings 11.19.20

Once again it is time for some Twitter (for those with a litigious bent there is a trademark symbol just after the “r” in the previous word) like random musings from the mind of a quiet, unassuming, at least in my own opinion, person observing the ramblings, rumblings and revelations in the media. Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

I listened to the news this morning while working out and there are reports of intimidation against Republican poll watchers and against an attorney who is or perhaps was working on one of President Trump’s lawsuits against the election results. One of the stories takes place in Michigan and the other takes place in Pennsylvania. These would then be examples, if proven true, of thuggish brutish and criminal behavior and the perpetrators of these crimes need to be held accountable.

So, Google starts Google Pay and thus creates their own bank, Amazon has now gone into the pharmacy business all announced in the span of a whole two days. Geez, who has been making money during this pandemic while countless numbers of small businesses are shuttered? Yet again, can anyone say anti-trust?

California Governor Newsom caught on camera with leaders and a lobbyist of California’s medical community eating in one of the most expensive restaurants in the country. That in and of itself stinks in the midst of a pandemic but to add icing to the cake none of them wore personal protective equipment (ppe), they were sat indoors, and the whole party of twelve was packed around a table with obviously less than six feet between each of them. Can you say hypocrisy?

What bothers me most is that Governor Newsom can meet with the so called medical leaders of the state for dinner in a group of twelve, which by the way exceeds the maximum allowed by state edict, to one could ostensibly assume to discuss their next actions against the citizens of California in the name of the pandemic. This while on the other side they are placing increasing numbers of counties in “purple” status which shuts down restaurants and are encouraging people to not hold Thanksgiving Dinners in their own homes. Wow, do you think perhaps Governor Newsom, his handlers and minions and all of the others across the country, (i.e. Governor Cuomo) and etc. like him do not want families, friends, and associates to gather because they fear political repercussions? You know the sort of political repercussions that could germinate when friends, family, and associates gather, talk, and begin comparing notes so to speak.

Let us not forget that the British did allow large gatherings in the days leading up to the American Revolution as have plenty of other dictators and etc. throughout the course of human history. Let us not forget that often the Sons of Liberty met in taverns throughout the American Colonies because obviously this fact has not been lost on the perpetrators of the COVID restrictions.

I just finished watching he press conference with President Trump’s attorneys and have to say I am encouraged. I am still digesting a fair amount of it but have to say overall it was encouraging despite Mayor Giuliani’s perspiration streaked face. Of course doing a Yahoo search I pull up the headlines such as” Giuliani quotes ‘My Cousin Vinny’ as he sets out conspiracy theories at bizarre press conference”, “Most respectable lawyers have quit Trump’s lawsuits…”, and “Confusion as Trump’s lawyers how press conference nest to sex shop”. I personally think Sidney Powell and especially Jenna Ellis were very well laid out. Ms. Ellis mentioned, and I am paraphrasing, that these are essentially opening statements and that the case is not to be judged in the court of public opinion but rather in the legal system. Therefore, there is no need to provide the details to the press. So true! If you are to believe Yahoo News one would think that the team is nothing but a bunch of crackpot conspiracy theorists. I wonder if they are saying this because each of the attorneys called the members of the press for their lack of objective reporting. I for one am patient and would like to see this played out in court. I certainly do not believe an iota of what the media is reporting. In fact, seeing the facts that can be laid out in the manner that they have been so far seems to me that more investigating is needed. I lived through the election of 2000 and it took much longer to resolve than has expired so far in since this current election was supposedly held.

One last thought is when people need to be bullied, censored, and otherwise threatened and intimidated into a view other than what they initially believe I ask myself why? I ask myself who are the people doing the bullying and intimidating and what are they hiding and trying to pull over on me? Something stinks when this simultaneously occurs geographically disperse areas and at the same time. Kind of like the “spontaneous’ eruption of protests and riots across the country as if on cue and with equal fervor.  

Scam at the Fringes

I remember many years ago reading a newspaper, when there was still some actual journalism happening and not propaganda, about some people who were arrested for a unique scam. In the scam, if I remember right some bankers and or accountants set up a scam in which they shaved fractions of cents off of financial transactions which in large transactions or spread over a huge amount of transactions and deposited these fractions of cents were deposited into bank accounts controlled by the scammers. At first glance one would not think that would amount to a whole lot of money but since I am an engineer and work with numbers I will provide an easy example. Let me state that these are not the actual figures of the scam but for the sake of this argument I am presenting a simplified example.

Say for instance one is brokering a $1,000,000 transaction in which their firm charges a 10% commission. That means the brokerage firm that the accountants and bankers work with will get a $100,000 commission. If say, for instance, 1/10th of a cent is shaved digitally during the transaction of the commissions then if a penny is 1/100 of a dollar then 1/10th of the 1/100th means 1/1000th of the $100,000 is shaved or $100 is shaved. From this I say ok, no big deal, a hundred dollars will fill two of my cars up with gas with some left over to get a weeks’ worth of groceries. Please do not get me wrong I would not be happy losing the $100 but compared to the overall transaction the $100 is actually 1/10,000 of the original $1,000,000.

Where this scam becomes interesting is when there are many separate and un related transactions occurring in which this 1/10th of a cent is shaved and collected into this account or several accounts controlled by the same group of scammers. In the United States I am sure there are more than hundreds of millions if not billions of transactions happening on any given day. For the sake of this argument let’s say a $100 million dollars is transacted and 1/10,000 or this $100 million is $10,000. If a billion dollars is transacted in a day 1/10,000 of the one billion is $100,000. Now we are looking at some serious money that was made in a single day by shaving off the edges of the hundreds if not thousands of financial transactions occurring without anyone really noticing for a significant length of time. The malfeasance and illegal activity of the conspirators did not attract the notice of regulators and law enforcement for significant amount of time.

Why do I bring this scam up on a blog dedicated to the Constitution you may ask? Well, I will answer your question, it is because I cannot get this scam out of my head observing the events of the past months that have culminated with the election this past week. Specifically, the calls by the press and Democrats asking for proof of election fraud and making statements that there is no wide spread voter fraud. When I began to hear of this the previous mentioned fraud was the first thought that came to mind. Number one there is increasing evidence of election fraud. This is substantiated by the fact the numbers of people beginning to sign affidavits to the fact that they witnessed fraud, coercion, and lack of transparency belies this fact.

Secondly, I would like to posit that there may be wide spread and organized fraud hid in plain sight. Hid in plain sight similar to the fraud committed by bankers, computer programmers, and accountants in the scam I mentioned. It is just too convenient that a voter machine switched votes from President Trump to Joe Biden in Michigan that would not have been caught had it not switched a traditionally Republican district and someone actually looked into the switch. It is my understanding that this machine is used in over thirty states and let us say for instance 1/10,000 of the votes were switched to Joe Biden. Would anyone notice?

To imagine a scenario in which 30 states has this happen and 140 million people total in the country voted. If 3/5 of the states have this machine this would mean 3/5 of 140 million people is 84 million people. If 1/10,000 of these 84 million votes were switched this would mean 8,400 votes were switched and no one would notice. If 1/1,000 of the votes were switched this would mean 84,000 votes were switched and no one would notice because they are spread over thirty states and multiple counties. In this election there are more than thirty states who used this machine and in states with large populations.

Now, we have in some of the large cities controlled by Democratic Party machines where there are allegations of so many different types of fraud and we can see that taken each type of fraud individually it does not appear to include large significant numbers that could change the outcome of the election. You know the argument that 10 votes here and a 100 votes there will not be enough to change the election.

What bothers me is like the scam I presented below we may not be looking at the forest because looking at only the 10 votes here and the 100 votes there we are just looking at trees. These 10 votes here, 100 votes there, 12,500 votes dumped overnight in a counting center, 4,500 votes flipped by a computer program written by a company with definite managerial ties to prominent Democrat politicians, who knows how many votes counted without Republicans able to verify a legal count, states changing laws to benefit mail in ballots which are subsequently counted without signature verification without observation, states Attorney General’s changing signature verification requirements, a complicit Twitter, Facebook, Amazon and mainstream media, COVID and it becomes easy to see that there is a pattern. A pattern in which suddenly, to me, it becomes plausible and within the realm of reason that the criminal Democratic Party organization could be pulling of a massive fraud against our country. This vote is so close that all of these seemingly unconnected “small” events could add up and that we of the United States are being duped and having our freedoms being stolen from us in broad daylight.

I do not accept the results of this election as it stands at this moment. This apparent fraud must be investigated and shown to not be fraud for me to accept the results. Do I expect the DOJ to open a RICO Investigation? No, I would imagine there is a snow ball’s chance in Hawaii of that happening. I notice the press is ramping up their reporting of the COVID spike on the heels of the COVID immunization announcement. States are beginning to shut down again and I cannot help but be cynical that the political class is using COVID yet again to shut down large public gatherings as opposition to the election results grows.

Now I hear calls to just accept the elections and agree that changing the voting process needs to happen from conservative sources. What?!?!? No! This is the type of acquiescing that has gotten us into this situation. Do you think the Democrat Socialists will allow the voting process to be changed in a way that disfavors them? It will be uncomfortable to stand up to the thugs, crooks, and bullies. Let me tell you that it was not comfortable for me to train, go and live in Afghanistan wearing my countries uniform. To you conservatives who want to just throw in the towel I say grow some fortitude because if you do not my time in the military for nothing!!!

Legitimacy

To be legitimate or not to be legitimate seems to be the question at hand in our country at the moment. Of course, I speak of the most recent elections held last Tuesday, November 3, 2020. This after Joe Biden and the media have begun pushing the agenda that Mr. Biden has won the election.

Sitting at my kitchen table letting my fingers push a key pad I am left wondering if my country and its institutions are nothing but a charade to prop up a corrupt, self-serving, parasitic ruling class in this country. A class that has no party affiliation other than to perpetuate their power and their families.

Let me state first and foremost that I do not recognize Joe Bidden as the President Elect any more than I recognize President Trump as the President Elect. What I do recognize is that everything about this election has a certain stench about it and I am starting to think that there is a vast attempt to disenfranchise me and, quite honestly, many other Americans.

It is my opinion that the big city political machines need to be destroyed and efforts must be made to ensure they never gain the power that they apparently still have. These political machines from New York to Baltimore to San Francisco including Chicago and other Democrat Party run cities in between have corrupted and laid waste to once great and vibrant cities and states. These political machines have created nothing more than a class of gentrified leeches and cheats who live off of the carcasses of these once great cities and states. Now, like a tape worm growing inside the guts of their host they want to spread their corruption to the White House and fundamentally change the whole country. It is time, if we want to save this constitutional republic, that we must first ascertain a proper diagnosis of the parasite so that a proper treatment to eliminate this parasite can be prescribed.

I do not care how many weeks it takes to sort out the allegations of fraud in the contested states so that only legal votes are counted. If a vote was received late, was of a dead person, or if machines had their software changed to miscount votes in favor of Joe Biden or even, quite frankly President Trump, then this needs to be rooted out and it needs to be rooted out now! This is not a can to be kicked down the road until a future date which is so often the default of the parasitical class. If you expect me to consider this election as legitimate then you need to convince me that this is a legitimate election! Oh and just because the Justice Department doing an investigation their findings alone will not convince me. As I wait for the Durham report and considering how little of the Justice Department’s bureaucracy has turned over since the Obama administration there are doubts in my mind at just how effective they can be.

These are dangerous times because if I am questioning the legitimacy of the election then how many others out there are coming to similar if not the same conclusions. I have to question returns that have what appears to be a very corrupt politician being propped up by what appears to be very corrupt political machines in corrupt cites and being protected by a corrupt media class who happens to be headquarted in many of these corrupt cities and states. Now we have members of these same big city parasites in both the media and government calling for the blacklisting of Trump staffers and supporters? This type of rhetoric is moving our republic down a path that does not have a good ending. Then again, perhaps this is the truly the end game of this minority of parasites which is to sow discord and create anarchy?

This comes back to what many consider to be chaos and uncertainty regarding the election and its results for me. It is better to ensure that the election is fair and that any votes cast illegally have been disqualified and endure the potential chaos that comes from a fair election than to go further down a road that delegitimizes our republic. After all I quite certain the loudest opposition to a fair election are those who would seek to delegitimize the republic and install a government more suitable to their ends. Ends that certainly are not beneficial to the population and country as a whole.

Yes, a constitutional crisis may ensue in which court precedent may need to be set. It will not be the first time this has happened and I pray to God I hope it is not the last time that it will happen. The Constitution was purposely made to be a living document so that it could change and flex as our nation aged and times changed. However, it was not made to be so flexible that it could be bent shaped and broken according to the whims of a small group of elite parasites. If we, as a nation, expect this republic to live what better time than right now to ensure that our elections are fair, clean, and legal? May the parasitical class thugs who are threatening violence if the election does not go their way carry through with their threats of coercion? Yes, they probably will and they should be held accountable. However, if the election is not shown to be legitimate we could presumably begin to see the disintegration of the republic in ways that will make the agitations of these thugs seem very minor in comparison.

I thank President Trump and his team for standing up to the bullies and thugs in the big city political machines and their lackeys in the press. For if President Trump will not stand up then who will? I know it certainly will not be the likes of Mitt Romney and the other RINOS in the Republican Party and most certainly not from the other side of the aisle in the Democrat Socialist Party ranks.

I will not Zoom my Thanksgiving dinner! F*&k you CDC and any others who would even suggest this. I am my family consist of responsible adults who can make their own choices. Go back to being good little bureaucrats and keep your noses out of my business because you are no longer scientists.

So, the Presidential Commission on Debates wants to have a virtual debate because of COVID fears. Hmm, let me see I wonder if I could have backed out of my deployment to Afghanistan because of my fear of being killed? No, I took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States and so I did my duty. Excuse me Commissioners the Presidential Election is guaranteed by the Constitution and your fears of COVID ring hallow to me. Wear PPE and if you get it, the odds are you will not die. The numbers just do not back it up. Besides President Trump obviously has beaten it and so will not be in danger.

I think it is a great thing that the FBI broke up the plot against the Michigan Governor. I do not agree with any one of her policies but there is a way to legally remove her from office and that is the way to go about it in my opinion. Now, why can they not bring charges against the members of the Justice Department who plotted a coup against the duly elected President of the United States and arrest the bastards who committed these seditious acts?

Grandma Nancy Pelosi will not pass any COVID relief because she cannot get her pork passed? Good for you President Trump!

Supreme Court Vacancy 2020

With the year 2020 continuing its series of twists and turns we are confronted with yet another opportunity to either acquiesce to the sowers of discord and hatred or find our inner courage and stand up for what believe to be right. This time it is the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the guaranteed political maneuvering, machinations, and perils of her passing less than two months before the elections. Elections which include the President, nearly the whole of the Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and elections which have the specter of a leftist extortion threat of violence if the left does not get its way hanging over them.

Despite all of this my first take on Justice Ginsburg’s passing and the subsequent vacancy of her position on the Supreme Court bench is that President Trump and the Republicans have potentially a great opportunity to take control of the narrative in the days leading up to the election. Though I will be the first to admit, from what I see as an outsider, the path is fraught with peril, it will require some stiff backbones and it will require intestinal fortitude from the Republican Senate caucus. Much of which seems to be missing at times in the Republican caucus.

Specifically, I do not see too much downside to pushing ahead with the nomination and confirmation of a new justice. I say this for several reasons which include the opportunity to control the pace of events in Washington DC in the month or so leading up to the election and the ability to appoint a true constitutional conservative who will not be a proponent of judicial activism. Least of all and most importantly the President and Senate have the Constitutional authority to do so under Article II Section 2 of the The Constitution of the United States.

Starting with appointing a proponent of judicial activism it appears that the Republican majority could be in jeopardy of being lost in the election. If this is truly the case then waiting until after the election would be the squandering of a generational opportunity. Sure, the Democrats and their surrogates in the media will scream hypocrisy (which seems to be the going narrative already the day after the Justice’s death on NPR and other Leftist Media sites). However, Senator McConnel has already laid the messaging groundwork in stating that Republicans control both the White House and the Senate. So, game over, the Democrats, Marxists, and Leftists can whine and cry, but they do not have the Constitutional authority to do anything about it.

Politically, it does have the potential to create consternation and headaches for the Senators who are running in contested elections which I get. But again, this is a generational opportunity and a duty specifically spelled out in the constitution. So, they need to get over it.

This leads to the last thought I have regarding the proceedings and hearings which can be quite public. I would love to gauge the public reaction would be if the Bret Kavanaugh hearings were to happen right now? I am not saying the Democrats would approach the hearings the same way they did Justice Kavanaugh’s hearings but I would almost dare them to do so. I would especially like to see what Senator Harris and the other leftists have to say in the hearings which will undoubtedly be broadcast nationally. I this especially considering how quiet she has been the last several weeks.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

As expected, the year 2020 keeps on rolling unabated with yet another not altogether unexpected surprise but a shock nevertheless. I walked into my living room yesterday evening and my wife informed of the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (RBG). Needless to say, the first words out of my mouth were, “Whoa! This is big”.

First though I would offer my condolences to her family. I am sure they, a person who never met her personally, have been watching her decline and speaking from firsthand experience of similar experiences have begun their mourning and will be doing so for some time to come.

To be quite honest I personally have paid little attention to the life of Justice Ginsburg other than that I pretty much disagreed with her positions on the bench in just about every imaginable way possible up to and included her use of her position for judicial activism. Just look at the name of my blog and this should come as no surprise. However, after watching some of the hastily assembled tributes and recounts of her life last night it is hard not to respect all that she accomplished in her life. A lifetime that began in 1933 and spanned across a period of time in which included so many changes in the world and our country. A period of time that encompassed wars, great social changes, a man land on the moon, the advent of the computer, and many other things to say the least. I must respect that she was able to have a family, go to law school, practice law and ultimately rise to one of the highest judicial positions in our country. To Ruth Bader Ginsburg, “I say Shalom and though I am not Jewish it certainly is not lost on me that you have passed on the Shabbat at the beginning of Rosh Hoshana. May you rest in peace Justice Ginsburg”.

I cannot believe so much time has passed since my last post already. This especially considering all the events that have happened and so much that could be commented on. Then again perhaps it is because all the events going on that have prevented me from typing.

In my part of the world we have been sucking California’s smoke for literally the last month except for three days. Today is one of the relatively smoke free days and maybe that is a reason for me doing some typing.

Hmm, it seems that Senator John Thune is partners with Senator Lee in supporting and protecting big tech. Senator Thune why don’t you just confirm President Trump’s FCC nomination? I wonder how much they have paid you, your campaign, and or one or some of your constituents. Are you a RINO or just a greedy bastard?

And the cheat by mail fraud scandal continues on with Pennsylvania and Michigan being the latest characters to join in the plot.

I hear that the State of Nevada Governor (Steve Sisolak) is now withholding coronavirus relief funds from the county that hosted President Trump last weekend. What a petty little man.

Talk about another petty man and petty dictator the mayor of Nashville is another one. I just cannot help but wonder how many more of the petty men and women in positions of power are doing the same?

I finally got around to taking my NFL, MLB, and NBA teams off of my DVR list. The next things for me to do are to cancel my Netflix subscription and shutdown my Google accounts.

I wonder if Prince Harry knew what Meghan Markle was really about when he married her? I would think that Marxism flies in the face of all that his family stands for but then again, he did step back from his official duties.

Mr. President! Do you feel as if you are being stalked or perhaps have someone following you? Someone who seems to want to suddenly say the same things that you say and visit the same places that you visit? I think perhaps you do have someone doing this to you, however, you will not be able to send the Secret Service to investigate this person. I do not suppose it would be fitting considering this person, Joe Bidden, has his own Secret Service detail guarding him. I find it interesting, after listening to the speech he gave on Monday, that the speech ended sounding eerily like the speeches at the Republican National Convention last week. He even said God Bless America at the end. Not only that he decided to visit Kenosha today just days after your visit. Something sinister is afoot here. I do think, Mr. President, that you truly are being followed. Please do not let your guard down because that person, I am quite confident, can and will catch you if given half a chance.

Shocking!!! The city of Seattle has finally decided to clean out the park at the center of their own version of Marxistan and what do they find? Weapons, spike strips, and all sorts of other equipment used for rioting. All the while people are questioning in a yelling manner who is going to look out for the homeless? This because the professional rioters are claiming to protect the homeless. Well, memo to protesters, the police are finally being allowed to protect taxpayers!

Mrs. Pelosi I know you are vain and it comes as no surprise that you have been able to keep your hair colored and cut and maybe even get a nip a tuck though I am not sure of the later during the so called pandemic shutdowns. I rolled my eyes because I figured you probably had someone coming to your home and you know I cannot afford something like that but I know you can so I though to myself, “so what”. Now, however, I see that you have been sneaking into a shut down hair salon the whole time! A hair salon that has been forced to be shutdown and the owner maybe going out of business! Then you have the gall to claim that you were set up!?!? Maybe you were set up and you know what? You should have been set up and I am glad the store owner leaked the security tape. Oh, and though I live in a state that allows salons to open we have to wear masks and there are plexiglass windows and the governor of my state even has his gestapo (state OSHA officials) running around checking on businesses to ensure they are in compliance. If not, the salon is fined $5,000 the stylist $3,000 and the customer $2,000. So, needless to say when getting hair washed, everyone must wear a mask! Mrs. Pelosi, you are nothing but a hypocrite and cheap thug. What happened, did you just forget to read the fine print and just thought to yourself that you would figure it out? Now your minions are threatening, insulting, and bullying the salon owner! Apparently, the abuse of power is routine for you because it seems to be someone else’s fault and not yours.

I say take Tik Tok down and I am glad to see the restrictions being put on Chinese diplomats. What I find insidious is how the CCP is using the youth of America to insinuate their intelligence apparatus on and into American culture. I listen to my kids and they are upset that President Trump is going after Tik Tok which is one of my kid’s favorite apps.  Honestly, I am breathing a bit easier knowing the President is going after Tik Tok and has restricted the diplomat’s freedom of movement.

I had a thought the other day after listening to some news report somewhere or perhaps it was after listening to or reading several news stories. Particularly this thought went to voting and all the hoopla surrounding mail in and etc. I for one am against all mail in voting except for absentee. In fact, I have voted absentee while on duty in the military and was grateful for this opportunity. But what strikes me is this push to make voting convenient. First it was early voting and now it is mail in voting and a push to provide time off and etc. I am ok taking a day off to allow voting but mail in voting I do not think so. Anyway, the thought that came to me is, “Voting is a right and responsibility and it is not supposed to be a convenience!”

Random Musings 8.26.20

Once again it is time for some Twitter (for those with a litigious bent there is a trademark symbol just after the “r” in the previous word) like random musings from the mind of a quiet, unassuming, at least in my own opinion, person observing the ramblings, rumblings and revelations in the media. Additionally, it appears that Twitter would most likely censor what I have to say any way and Facebook certainly would censor what I have to say.

I watched the entire RNC telecast last night which, I admit, is the first live coverage of any convention I have watched since watching my first which was with my Grandparents in 1976. This was the convention that Ronald Regan lost to Gerald Ford and we all know how the election turned out in November of 1976. Something ironic about that is my grandparents were die hard democrats and had nothing good to say about “The Actor”.

First off, I enjoyed watching and listening to the five people take the Oath of Citizenship. I have to be honest that I have never listened nor read this oath before and I was humbled. To listen to these people voluntarily renounce allegiance to their previous government was as I just wrote, humbling. I think every high school civics or government class could include a reading of this oath. Having taken the military oath a few times I noted the similarities and differences. The one striking similarity that I noticed that both have the oath taker protecting The Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic.

Of course, this was a nice set up for First Lady Trump who herself has taken the Oath of Citizenship. For her speech I only have a couple of words and that she is a smart lady and one has to respect her journey based on her own merits at a minimum if nothing else.

Kentucky Attorney General Cameron rocked. He came across as poised, self-confident, intelligent and a politician. The last I would not consider a positive, however, the fact that his parents owned a coffee shop when he was young certainly helped to shape his outlook on life. In other words, I like his small business background and I hope he did not forget this in law school.

I noted after the conclusion of the RNC for the night Fox News had Chris Wallace speak last. What struck me is Chis Wallace’s talk about the president using the White House for a political convention and Secretary of State Pompeo being the first Secretary of State to speak at a convention. Ok, by themselves these are good points and should raise an eyebrow and Mr. Wallace did after pointing this out. However, let us take these comments into context. First, these are the first pandemic conventions with social distancing requirements and all the fear that comes along with a pandemic. Second, let us not forget all the other precedents that have been broken by the Democrats going back to President Roosevelt breaking through the two term limit and recently the weaponization of the DOJ and FBI against a political foe, and the completely partisan impeachment. Mr. Fox give me a break and I have to wonder why Fox gave Juan Williams and Chris Wallace the last word amongst pundits?

Ok, my mind took a dark turn this morning thinking about the possibility of a contested election as Hillary Clinton seems to be calling for. What if this goes on and the UN decides they need to send in “peace keeping” forces? Could this be the end game? No no no, the globalist elites would never endorse such a thing. Yes, there may have been some sarcasm dripping from the last sentence and yes, I agree it is far fetched but if I am thinking about it I have to believe someone else could be thinking about it.

Lastly, Kenosha, Wisconsin. The riots took a dark turn last night and not necessarily for the good. I see this afternoon that a young 17 year old has been arrested but I will not rush to judgement. I see the governor and others are now calling for an end to the violence and more National Guard is being called in. My first reaction is to say to the governor why did you wait for people to be killed? You had to know the way it was going to play out considering all that has happened this summer since the George Floyd death.

Quite honestly, I was beginning to wonder how long it was going to take before something like last night happened. When business owners, who are tax paying citizens, cannot expect or trust their government to protect their businesses there is going to come a point when the businesses owners are going to protect their businesses with or without the government. Governor Evers, and the other governors out there, can you blame the formation of groups like The Boogaloos from occurring? Remember the businesses pay taxes and license fees and provide employment. When you deliberately do not allow the police to do their jobs nor do you allow others to help people will be forced to take matters into their own hands or be destroyed. This is not a good thing because what this means is that people have lost faith in your government. This is dangerous and can lead to much pain and heartache. Quite honestly, the responsibility rests on the current batch of local elected leaders in my opinion. Elected leaders who seem unqualified, cynical, corrupt and or generally unsuited for their jobs.
