Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants, raves and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants, revelations and gratitude’s in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.
Yet another few weeks since I last rambled due to work commitments which have kept me very busy to include two weeks out of town dealing with air travel in one instance. I flew into and out of Houston’s Intercontinental Airport (aka George Bush) with connections in Phoenix. My observations is that airports have become glorified bus stations and US domestic airlines over book and are so driven by profit that they are failing to provide decent service. Half of my flights were delayed with one actually causing me to need to be squeezed onto another flight due to missing a connecting flight. The seats have gotten smaller unless one upgrades but even these appear to be getting smaller. I realized afterward but the friendly American Airline agent in Houston who suggested that I book to a later flight out of Phoenix actually did not have my best interest in mind. The flight out of Houston was delayed due to mechanical problems and if I could not have made my connection in Phoenix American Airlines would have been responsible for any overnight stay in Phoenix. However, by booking me on a later flight it waved American Airlines responsibility and in the process the American Airline ticket agent said I could not upgrade to a seat with more leg room without paying. When I used the American Airline app I was able to do so without paying. Thank goodness I could at least drive for my next trip out of town even if it took me an extra three to four hours longer. At least I did not have to deal with the US air travel system.
I had another opportunity to travel through the once golden state of California and drove up I-5 from San Diego north through Los Angeles. Yes, Los Angeles is still a third world city being run by a petty socialist oligarchy. The I-5 still smells of urine just north of the Orange County-Los Angeles county line for miles thanks to the homeless encampments. No, the city of Los Angeles is still extremely business unfriendly when listening to the news Mayor Karen Bass has said the food distribution facility cannot expect to rebuild until it cleans up the mess after its fire. This pays no mind to how long it takes to get any permits approved in Los Angeles and the fact, most likely, the business that burned is trying to get permitting taken care of while the clean up happens. Of course, this is nothing new to the residents of the Palisades and elsewhere. Karen Bass and her cadre are corrupt Socialist Marxists who are delaying and waffling on purpose. They want your land and wealth Angelinos and unless you stand up to these bully’s they will keep going after your wealth.
The on again off again Iran War appears to be on again and gas prices follow the war as they go up and down and are up again. There is no doubt in my mind that the globalists in Europe are dragging this war on in an effort to stop President Trump and his administration’s agenda in hope that Congress and or the Senate will fall under control of the US Democrat Socialist Party in the upcoming mid term election. The paid off globalists in the Congress from both parties are slow rolling everything to include the SAVE Act which should be a slam dunk considering how popular it is in the United States. This is just further proof of how corrupt Congress has become and how beholden to special interests and the lobbying class Congress is.
Speaking of slow rolling all the bull shit being peddled by politicians to include the Trump Administration I have to ask how come no one is being held accountable in the DC swamp for crimes committed? I can only listen to so much bull shit before my bull shit tank over flows and it is full. I can not longer listen to any more of the bull shit because the tank needs a clean out and it starts in Washington D.C. Supreme Court justices fear for their lives, member of Congress receive campaign donations from agents of countries who hate the US Constitution, the DOJ appears to do nothing, the FBI and CIA cover up if not outright perpetrate crimes against US Citizens, and all a little piece of crap doctor an do is plead the fifth 111 times in front of Congress, and China buys up US Land, has thousands of agents working in the United States and lies to our President and reneges on their promises to purchase aircraft from Boeing. All this and no one is held accountable but I can guarantee if I receive a speeding ticket, do not pay my taxes or any number of other infractions I will be held accountable. When did the US government cease to work for its citizens and start working for special interests and foreign governments and interests at the expense of its citizens? President Trump, time to put up or shut up because my bull shit tank is full and starting to overflow. If you do not think these petty communists will not be coming after you when they get power just remember what they did to you last time. Only this time they will be coming after you with both barrels because they are small minded, vindictive, intellectually lazy, leaches who cannot create a thing but will destroy anything that is good.
A week or so ago I saw two seemingly independent reports covering comments by John Bolton and Brit Hume. John Bolton bloviations about, something to the effect, that President Trump would have the worst two years of his life if the Republicans were to lose control of Congress. At the same time Brit Hume pontificated about how there is no good news for the Republicans looking forward to the mid term elections. I understand why Mr Bolton and Mr Hume are saying what they are saying because they do not like President Trump at all because he is not from the Bush/Neo Con wing of the Republican Party. However, I have to ask why is it the losers in the Republican Party even still have a platform to speak? Our country is heading to increased civil strife and hopefully not civil war as the Socialists are openly challenging the US Constitution and what it stands for. Why can’t the Republicans and even some conservative Democrats put their petty squabbles aside to address the real threat? Again, why is their no accountability in Washington D.C.? It is obvious to me that the corruption and rot is so pervasive that, like cancer, a really serious treatment plan is needed and it needs to be followed sooner rather than later.
