Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants, raves and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants, revelations and gratitude’s in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.
I did not even realize that it has been two weeks, yet again, since I rambled and ranted about the media and all that is happening or not happening. Here I go whether you like it or not because, quite frankly, I do not care.
I am going to start out with a question. Why is it that we do not have a Ft. Grant or a Ft. Sherman anymore in the United States? At least the names of Ft. Hood and Ft. Bragg no longer commemorate Confederate generals who, quite honestly, were losers in the War of Southern Rebellion. A rebellion led by Democrat Party slave holders who were supported by Great Britain. Last I checked US Grant and William Tecumseh Sherman kicked the stuffing out of both Hood and Bragg in the US Civil War which helped to maintain the union. Were Grant and Sherman perfect? No, absolutely not and I would guess that they would each admit that they were not.
My prayers go out to the souls of those killed and their families in the latest war. I also pray for those currently involved in the war and that the war is being fought for the right reasons.
I did not comment on President Trump’s State of the Union speech previously but my biggest take away is how obvious the members of Congress are puppets, especially on the Democrat side of the aisle. I watched the Democrats when President Trump challenged them with regards to who they support more, Americans or illegal aliens, and it was obvious some of the Democrats were uncomfortable remaining seated. However, they did not stand up. The only reason I can conclude is it did not fit the script given to them before the State of the Union address. I can only wonder who wrote the script ahead of time for them but the writers certainly did not expect the question that the President asked of them. It would be so refreshing to see members of Congress who are able and confident enough to stand on principal rather than from whom their next campaign’s contributions will be coming from. Quite honestly, I have to give the President and his team high praise for the work of art that the State of the Union was. Secondly, the “crazy” people occupying office and their backers need to be rooted out of public service if not for their incompetence than for their traitorous behavior towards the American people.
I learned the other day that Joe Biden’s FBI had opened four special privileged investigations under the Counter Intelligence code against President and citizen Donald J. Trump and the MAGA Movement Furthermore, a counter intelligence operation, as currently written in US Code, allows for extreme measures against the subject of a counter intelligence operation. In other words, it is classified, it circumvents the constitution, and pretty much allows for whatever it takes to destroy the subject of said operation. Hence, we have the Russia Collusion Hoax, Mira Lago, the roundup of January 6th protesters, and who knows what else up to including, possibly, the assassination attempts on President Trump. These laws must be changed and those who participated in the obvious political weaponization of these laws must be brought to light even if they cannot be legally prosecuted.
This brings up another subject and that is the overuse of security classifications by the US Government. It has become so easy to issue classifications so much that everything becomes classified and unable to be scrutinized by any nationals of the united states. In and of itself it is cumbersome but what becomes nefarious is when the classifications are used, much like the FBI and its operations run against President Trump, for political reasons and or other reasons suited to one’s ambitions.
Lastly, how come the SAVE Act is stalling in the US Senate? Once again, I have to show identification to get a job, drive a car unless I am an illegal in California, buy a house, open a bank account and any number of other activities. Yet, I do not need to show identification or show up in person to vote? I will say that I am glad that Republicans narrowly control both houses of Congress but come on Republicans. Have you guys been getting elected fraudulently as well? How come you are holding up and not passing the SAVE Act? If you are trying to attach a bunch of garbage to the bill stop it and just pass the bill. Quit listening to you donors and if it means you do not get reelected because you lose your donors, so what? Grow a spine like the members of our military who are serving in the Middle East right now have and do what is right. Be an American for goodness sakes.
