Random Musings on Current Events 2.27.2026

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants, raves and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants, revelations and gratitude’s in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.

I listened to a bit of what the US Chamber of Commerce has become and more specifically that it has become a tool for global elites. I guess at one time it supported US small businesses but that is no longer the case. It has supported every globalist led initiative going back decades to include granting China most favorable nation status. Quite honestly, I have to say now that I believe the US Chamber of Commerce is an enemy of the United States and a tool of the Elites.

I am not concerned about the Supreme Court ruling on the protective tariffs in the way that Trump initially applied them. I am not too concerned because he will continue to do so in other ways and as he  mentioned in his Statue of Union speech many agreements are already in place and will most likely not changed. Now, however, I can see people within the US are pushing the Trump administration to refund tariffs based on the Supreme Court ruling. These people do care a whit about me and their masters are obviously to the global elites.

I had to laugh when I read that Britain’s “The Economist” had an editorial piece saying President Trumps State of the Union (SOU) was unworthy. “Unworthy of what?” I had to ask myself. Unworthy or foreign bank, foreign intelligence and other anti US influences, perhaps. Memo to the editors of The Economist this is not Great Britain, which is not so great BTW, and why should I care a whit what you think about my President’s SOU?

On a serious note I read that Susan Rice is threatening corporations with payback and essentially black balling them for not supporting her pet projects and supporting President Trump and his administration’s policies. This is frightening because she is no longer hiding in the shadow and now, we know who in the Obama and Biden sphere who was calling the shots regarding delisting, debanking, and other DEI inspired corporate take downs. I now have to wonder what else in these two administrations she was orchestrating and just how anti American she truly is. I feel the bile rising from my stomach just reading her comments.

Congratulations to the US men’s and women’s hockey teams as well as to all the other athletes who were part of the Olympics.

God bless America and all her citizens and residents, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere between. Additionally, forgive me for my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me.

I have watched some more Olympics and quite honestly, I am disgusted that the Russians are not allowed to compete in the games. This, obviously, a decision by western European elites who have pushed and pushed the bear and because of their own failures at governing have once again chosen the bear to be their bogey man. Their bogey man that is used to distract their constituents while they run Western Europe into the ground with their deindustrialization schemes and quite honestly are running Europe and her culture into oblivion. In the process they are trying to drag the United States into their self-created crisis of incompetence or self-immolation or cultural suicide.

I watched some more snowboarding events and it is without a doubt, in my mind, that the judges of this once American sport are now Europeans who judge according to political norms rather than based on how good a snow border is in a particular event.

On another note how can one not praise Alysa Liu and her family’s journey to become an American and to represent her country. Congratulations Ms. Liu on your accomplishment!

I am reading about Tucker Carlson being harassed by Israeli security services after an interview of the American Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. According to Mr. Tucker the US ambassador did not investigate his version of the events but instead took the side of the Israelis or perhaps Benjamin Netanyahu. It sure smells of an Israeli information warfare operation with perhaps the collusion of the Ambassador being run on Mr. Carlson and his crew.

Oh and by the way I read today that Ambassador Huckabee is spouting the Netanyahu line today about Iran still enriching uranium and building up ballistic missiles and yada yada yada. OK, Mr. Netanyahu, I mean Ambassador Huckabee. We know that you are part of the old guard Republicans and I would imagine closely aligned with the Neocons led by Senator Graham. I still say that if Israel wants to attack Iran, then let them. Would I rather live in Israel than Iran, no doubt and my loyalties fall firmly in Alexander’s camp versus the Persians. However, I am sick and tired of Americans being the worlds police force while our treasure is plundered by old world oligarchs and this anti Iranian drumbeat is nothing but another ploy to embroil the United States in another war that only benefits old world European oligarchs. Go fight your own damn fight and do not ask me to bail you out or protect you.

I was always a bit dubious of the grounds that the Trump administration used to support their tariffs on foreign countries and it appears the Supreme Court’s majority felt the same. Quite honestly all I have to say is so what. The Trump administration either had contingency plans in place or developed them in this eventuality and has already replaced these overturn tariffs with others using different justifications which appear to be much tighter and legal. Shoot even Justice Kavanaugh spelled out some of this. It seems the tariffs which really are not as bad as some would lead us to believe are working after all and will continue to do so. The best of it is that the tariffs support actual industry in the United States and if it comes at the expense of the banking and financial industries all that come to mind for me to say is, “So what”.

This tragic Nancy Guthrie fiasco continues in Tucson, Arizona. Everyone knows that Tucson is in control of narco terrorists and the Sheriff is an empty suit in the mold of Gavin Newsom. One cannot help but wonder if the Guthrie kidnapping is a cartel connected operation gone bad and if the Pima County Arizona Sheriff is covering for it in some way? The evidence sure seems to be pointing more and more in the direction considering the Sheriff is not using any Federal assistance. It really is too bad for the Guthrie family and my prayers go out to them.

God bless America and all her citizens and residents, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere between. Additionally, forgive me for my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me.

I am sitting down this morning to type my ramblings, rumblings, rants, revelations and gratitude’s this morning and seem to be drawing a blank. Throughout the course of the week I have listened to so much, read quite a bit and even had a couple of conversations and do you think that I can remember what I thought about typing this morning? Well, if you guessed not a thing then you guessed correctly. So, I believe I will start with what I am grateful for this February morning the day before St. Valentines Day.

First, I am grateful for the founding fathers of the United States of America and, in particular, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton and others of their group who could have set the United States of America down the path of a European monarchy but did not. Instead George Washington chose to live by the Constitution as best he could and Alexander Hamilton charted a course that expanded the new nation’s economy and actually paid of the Revolutionary War debt. George Washington even raised an army of sorts to stamp down the nascent rebellion fomented by Thomas Jefferson and his allies in an effort to preserve the Constitution and, therefore, the Union. I am grateful that I live in the country founded on these principles despite the effort of so many to subvert the ideals and the Constitution itself from within.

Speaking of which I am hearing all kinds of nonsense about President Trump making unconstitutional executive orders and etc. Perhaps he is but I have to say it is refreshing to see a true executive in the position of Chief Executive wield the power granted to him as a Chief Executive could and would. Now, it is up to the other two branches of government to step up to the plate and balance President Trump’s use of executive authority as the founders intended our government to work. That being said I would hope the judiciary does what the original intent was and that is to weigh the merits of the case against the Constitution and not try to legislate from the bench. The legislative branch, well, what can be said about that group of individuals that most often seem more interested in pandering to special interests and getting reelected than actually being law makers. When members of the legislative branch let special interests write legislation there is a big problem. Personally, I think it is time to resurrect the idea of term limits for Congress in order to avoid or at least limit the influence of special interests.

Speaking of a complete shirking and relinquishing of authority by Congress, I am learning of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 in which Congress gave away the power given to it by the Constitution and, quite honestly, I am not too thrilled with what I am learning. I think one of the biggest fallacies that I am coming to grips with is the so called independence of the Federal Reserve that I have been told about my whole life. Sure, the Federal Reserve is independent of Congress and the Executive but is it really independent? No, it is not independent of the super huge banks that underpin the Federal Reserve Bank and that are essentially its shareholders. It does not take a mental giant to see how the Federal Reserve and its policies have not been to support the US middle class, industrial class or any other class but the financial class over the decades and it is only getting worse. Perhaps it is time for Congress and or the Executive via the Department of Treasury to reel back some of the Constitutional powers into the hands specifically spelled out in the Constitution.

I have been watching the Olympics a little bit and have to say a certain European arrogance has taken over what was once a uniquely American sport. The sport of snowboarding is the sport I speak of and perhaps even short track speed skating. In particular, I watched the snowboard slalom finals yesterday and one of the Americans was disqualified despite what appeared to be incidental contact. This after what appeared to be groups of Europeans working in concert to keep him and others in other races out of the lead. Quite honestly, I would say Mr. Vedder, at least on the television, kept his composure, did not cuss, and just called it insane, which is good but I will say that I did a bit of cussing for him in the privacy of my own home. My question is how many of the judges are American now for snowboarding?

I just learned that the House has cleared the SAVE Act and it now moves to the Senate. Let’s us all hope and pray that the Senate Republicans can get out of their own ways to pass this bill. If it does not pass, it will be even clearer who of the Republicans are on the take and corrupted by the current voting process. Quite frankly I would like to see the act include banning mail in ballots but I suppose one cannot get too greedy at this moment. Oh, I would have added Democrats to the above sentences but I believe it is implicitly assumed that they are already on the take as the democrat party benefits most from the current voting system.

I have to throw a thought out there to see if it provokes any discussion. Has anyone else noticed that it is the same political party, Democratic Party, that fomented and got the Civil War going on in the 1800’s that is pushing for civil war again in the country? This is the party of slavery, civil war, now mass corruption and money laundering, and leftists. Geez, one would have to think that maybe they really do not support the Constitution.

I will close out my ramblings and rants with another moment of gratitude. I am grateful that my European ancestors left Europe to seek out, search, and build greater opportunities and freedoms that they never would have been afforded in their home lands. I am grateful that I have inherited the spark of industry, perseverance and courage that has been rewarded in the United States and that would never have been rewarded in Europe. Now, I can pray that we as Americans can wake up and quit sending our treasure our ideas and inventions to a class of freeloading parasites that seem to have remained in Europe and that will never be satisfied with what they have.

God bless America and all her citizens and residents, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere between. Additionally, forgive me for my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me.

Once again it is time for some Random Musings On Current Events from the mind of a quiet, unassuming (at least in my own opinion) person observing the ramblings, rumblings, rants, raves and revelations in the media from behind the front lines of a purple state. I present these ramblings, rumblings, rants and revelations in a sort of stream of conscious journal format and, yes, there may be some sarcasm thrown in.

OK, it has been two weeks and I will admit that they two weeks have been quite the swirl of personnel events and work that I will not get into detail about here in my ramblings and rumblings for privacy reasons. I am well aware for the tendency to censure, ostracize and generally stamp down those like me who dare to speak up for the Constitution and against those who subvert and otherwise ignore the Constitution both inside the US and outside the US.

Speaking of outside of the United States it is fascinating to watch Western Europe descend into fascism. The same fascism that they who rule purport to abhor as they institute draconian anti speech laws and Keir Starmer is delaying, yet again, local elections in the UK. It is any wonder that my European ancestors left Europe and is it any wonder the left behinds are still sheep being herded by their masters? Of course, who am I to talk as there is certainly a fair number of sheep in this country as well, expecting their master’s to take care of all their needs.

The midterm elections are looming ever large on the horizon and it is interesting to observe the rumblings out in the media and the reporting as such. Of course, the milk toast old school Bush Republicans are still at it in the Senate and House. It is so obvious that they do not care a whit about being in charge but only about maintaining their status quo which means keeping their comfortable cushy jobs intact. Trouble is if the Republicans are going to keep and maintain the Senate and House this fall, they need to amplify what President Trump is doing well and how they are going to be part of it. President Trump won the country in 2024 and it seems many of the Republicans did not get the memo about why and how the President won. I say this because it seems they are following the same script laid out for them by the Bushes decades ago.

It seems the Epstein files are a gift that just keeps on giving and now we are seeing more into what and who Jeffrey Epstein really was involved with. From Israel’s Mossad to JP Morgan, to politicians and media darlings. The guy really epitomized evil power at all levels to include his disdain for non-Zionist Jews. I really have to say there is no lower form of life than those who use children to achieve their power and political aims.

Speaking of those who will do whatever it takes to obtain and keep their power. I am learning about Lord Palmerston of the UK and some of what he did before and after Queen Victoria’s reign. It seems his lessons are still being followed and his name is being thrown around by Canada’s opposition leader and in the UK itself. This is the man who essentially invented the color revolution albeit under another name to counter the growing US influence around the world with its own form of economy and they are at it again, it appears.

It was pointed out to me that the Minneapolis, MN director of emergency management or whatever it is called that does the same function is a former USAID and served in a NGO doing work in many of the worlds garden spots such as Libya, Haiti, Iraq and others. Geez, if that resume does not scream deep state that has worked for three letter agencies in the past. We all know that the CIA was a tool set up and eventually co-opted by MI6 after WWII. Oops, did I just say that out loud. I probably better keep an eye out now because we all know that despite the CIA not legally entitled to work in the US, they certainly have surrogates at work in the US who appear to be running operations against the President and others who support him.

God bless America and all her citizens and residents, no matter whether they are enemies, not enemies or somewhere between. Additionally, forgive me for my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me.
